ADDED NOTE: Surprisingly they refunded my card charge today. The reason was that the business had not completed the payment process.
I just got scammed out of $175 at this gas station at 6:38 p.m. (6:38 p.m.) on 04/14/2024.
We arrived to refuel at 6:35 p.m. (6:35 pm) and the employee was not in the store. He has said that he would start at 18:40 (6:40 pm). We were in a hurry to return the rental car and tried to refuel and pay with the bank card from pump 7.
We have followed the steps of the machine, inserted the card, etc., etc. And suddenly THEY HAVE CHARGED ME $175 from my card without refueling ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING.
We have gone inside, we have told the employee the problem (6:40 pm on 04/14/2024) and he tells us that it is impossible because it does not appear on the computer. He showed him the bank receipt where the Shell discount from a minute ago clearly appears and he continues to deny it.
In the end we had to fill my deposit with cash (of course WITHOUT getting the $175 back).
In case anyone wants to review the case. First we have paid the employee $50 (paid at 6:43:04 pm). Since the tank had not been filled (and it was for rent) we paid another $20 in cash at 6:51:11 pm.

Gas is cheaper here than at other places closer to the airport. However, be prepared to waste extra time at this place. Only 1 station took credit cards. Station did not print a receipt. You have to go inside, wait on the line and ask for the receipt at the register.

Kumar is the funniest dude out in San Bruno Shell gas station. He made me laugh so much early in the morning - man is wise as heck! Hardworking, friendly, hilarious. Recommend in the utmost respect. God bless this Shell!

Had a slightly surreal experience there on Saturday morning around 10am. I had a full tank but wanted to double-check before returning to Alamo, so I had paid $10 ahead to use the pump. However, when I went back to the pump it didn't work. I went back in and they guy came out and fiddled with some buttons and went back in with no explanation. It still didn't work, so I went back and asked for my money back and he just ignored me looking bemused. I had to get off for the flight, so just left without filling up. Okay, only $10 lost, but it was most odd. ADDED NOTE: I just checked my card and the $10 payment that was pending never went through. No charge made. No harm done.

2nd time I put gas in and try to get my receipt and change and no one is inside. Been standing for 30min already and no one still not here yet. And this never happen to me before.

People who dont like a gas station because of a Trump Dinosaur are immature snowflakes who dont think for themselves. What a moronic sentiment. How about gas prices, women and people being executed in Afghanistan? They dont care....trump dinosaurs are bad. Only in the bay area do people have their giant ego/heads shoved that far up their rear ends. Its virtue signalling, they only care for themselves.

Nice big, well lit Shell Station at El Camino Real x San Bruno. I didn't use the carwash, as it was after 10pm. Staff had masks on inside the foodmart. Attendant walked around checking the pumps and trash. That's great. He walked right by the homeless man camped out about 6-feet from the entrance to the foodmart. I've been to 100's of gas stations, and have never seen a homeless person allowed to camp on the property.

I have liked the tropical ambience and the changing colored lights going through the drive-through car wash. I have always enjoyed this car wash and have looked forward to coming here when my car needed a good cleaning. Well, it was my preferred car wash until today when I discovered a huge dinosaur eating President Trump on the premises as I was exiting. I didn't appreciate it or particularly find it funny even though someone else may. Not everyone agrees with you.You would do well to keep your political biases to yourself and off your business property. You just caused me to go seek out another car wash.

The car wash floods your car with high pressure water. Dinosaur with Trump doll in jaws extremely offensive. Never going there again.
