I've known Dev for many years. He has serviced many cars for me, and all on time, and true to price quote. He takes care of most of the taxi companies in the area.
I can't speak for the gentleman making negative comments below me, perhaps it was just a case of bad timing. But there are very many taxi cabs & limousine companies that swear by Dev and his staff.
Whoa Chansing (and the rest of you nay-sayers). Chill out brothers, Dev and staff would never "Scam" anyone. You flunked a smog test or something, that's not called "Scamming".
I don't get where some of you are coming from.
I think in most of these negative posts, perhaps your automotive issues lie somewhere between the DRIVERS SEAT & THE THE STEERING WHEEL.

There's a good reason this place was empty when I got there and it should have been a red flag but I went anyway and learned the hard way that these guys, especially the older bald buy, are a bunch of first class a-holes. I strongly urge you never to set foot in this place unless you want to get cursed at and accused of something you never said. There are too many other options with way better attitudes and service.

Totally scam smog service. I failed smog in THIS store because of wrong timing. Everything else passed. They offer 250 dollar fix but it is just another scam. Firstly, being a mechanic, I adjust my timing exactly at right degree which is 8. Secondly, for Mazda Miata made before 92, timing occurs as not adjustable instead of pass or fail. The funniest thing is after 2 hour, without any fixing I got pass at another smog check store. The only I can recommend for THIS store is STAY AWAY. Talked to my mechanic friends, they said I should sue them which I am considering.

Beware this shop does not do free retests. Do yourselves a favor and find a shop that does free retesting just in case your car does not pass. And the prices are higher here than many places as well. With that being said you’d think free retesting would be something they offerEDIT: Smog was failed due to “missing or non visible timing mark”Took the vehicle to my mechanic and the mark was visible and was able to check the timing. This shop either has incompetent smog techs or they just like to scam their customers so you pay for another smog check. Would not recommend this shop to anyone

I went to this shop yesterday for a Smog test,Before they worked on my car I asked the gentleman who assisted what the deal is if in case I dont pass the test and he told me that Ill pay $56.75 and I agree.I was watching outside the shop that they were doing some visual inspection on the car and they found out that there was a leak in the connection in the exhaust pipe and told me to have it fixed because it wont pass the test.Then he ask me to pay the full amount of $56.75 without doing the smog test.I asked and he said its for the visual inspection.I felt like I was ripped off because I wasnt told about this and I was only expecting theyll do the smog test where they insert a certain instrument to tell you if you fail or pass and this wasnt performed in my car.The worst part is that when I came back after fixing the problem I was asked to pay $30.00 plus $8.00 certificate.I checked with other smog test shop and shared with them my experience and they told me this is not a usual practice..I hope this will at least give the consumers not to fall victim like me.

Great service! Every member of the staff was courteous and helpful. Resetting service alert on my car was a little complicated, but they kept at it until they got it. Thanks!!
