The salesperson in this store treats customers very differently based on their body types. I went in there with my friend to shop for prom dresses. I’m a size 6-8. The salesperson discouraged me from even trying on size medium’s, worrying I would “break her zipper.” The entire time I was trying on dresses she would insist on getting me bigger sizes in order to “protect her merchandise”. This ruined the experience for me and made it a very stressful situation.

The owner of this store engages in body shaming of adolescent shoppers. telling them that they need larger sizes and that they will rip the dresses or break the zippers. A well made dress will not tear or break in the way she describes so I assume her dresses are not well constructed if she is so concerned. No adolescent should have to listen to someone say “you are too large” the entire time they are trying on dresses. This is sadly a refrain many of them are already hearing in their own heads. Please reconsider sending your teenager shopping in this store as they are likely to be body shamed if they exceed a size 0 or 2.

$25 to try on 2 quince dresses, nice staff, prices are competitive to other places we've looked. Probably about 30 dresses in store to choose from and lots of books. Try on money goes towards purchase of a dress at Nicole's. Only marked down 1 star because would've preferred to pay to try on 3 Or more dresses and that didn't seem an option.

I had one of the best experiences while shopping there. I was stressed out because nothing fit me in other stores for prom dresses and this place actually has a range of sizes. The pricing is cheaper then alot of prom dress shops. The person in there was incredibly helpful and made me feel comfortable.

this place is literally a scam. They up the prices soooo much. You can find some of exact dresses online for way cheaper. Worker was unfriendly and did not feel welcoming. DO NOT waste your time coming here ??

Really good selection of prom dresses, especially given the store isn't that big. Customer service was great, super helpful. Will def visit again when looking for a formal dress for myself or my teenage daughter.

This is a pretty delayed review, but I got prompted to write it after I took out the dress we got from here since I needed it for another event. We came to the shopping center earlier this year, but not actually to shop for dresses. While we were walking around, we saw all the beautiful dresses on display. My sister was planning on buying a dress at some point for a formal event, so we decided we might as well see what dresses they have. The store was pretty empty that day so the owners came to greet us and help out. My sister is a bit picky about dresses since she has wide shoulders. The lady helping us totally related with her experience with dresses which made us feel really comfortable. She offered suggestions on styles to fit my sister's body type better and was super patient even though my sister tried on so many dresses. Because this is a mom and pop shop, they may not carry some dresses in certain colors and sizes. All the dresses that you see in the store are what they're carrying for that day. Overall there's still a great variety of dresses to choose from. In the end, we landed on a strapless dress which you can adjust for your body type based on the ribbon you tie in the back. It wasn't my sister's #1 choice for color, but the style was beautiful. The prices are also really reasonable here and they can do alterations. If I remember correctly, the dress my sister got was probably a bit under $200 including tax. For the dress we got, alterations would have been $70-75 since the bottom is extremely flowy, but we decided to DIY it. Another thing to note when buying dresses here is that the many sizes they carry run really small (which is very common in bridal and formal dresses). This means you might have to buy a size that's a lot bigger than your normal size, but don't let that scare you--finding a beautiful dress that fits is what matters!

I’ve always had decently good experiences with this store. I first came here for a quince I was in, they offered to tailor the dress (I’m 5’1) the second time I came in was for my 8th grade promotion, I bought a black dress, tailored as well. It was fine but they do say unnecessary stuff. They said my butt was too big and ripped the back a little. I took it as a compliment but a completely unnecessary comment. I was invited to my boyfriends prom. Its not my senior year but it’s his. It’s obviously important. I wanted a simple dress, nothing expensive because it’s not mine. I first tried on this dress that was $100 and something rounding up to $200. My mom made me start asking for prices before trying them on. Most were $300 which we weren’t interested in spending so much(again not my prom so why buy such an expensive dress?) When they noticed we weren’t going to buy anything expensive they started ignoring us and just being rude. Just like another review, another girl came in trying on (what I assumed was expensive dresses) and they were hyping her up, saying how beautiful and what not. At the end they said I should get it tailored and if I wanted to elsewhere because its $75 to get it tailored in the same store. That was completely rude considering the other time they offered to make it pretty and fit me perfectly, and now she’s implying we can’t afford it? I shouldn’t have bought the dress. But I needed something with prom around the corner. I’m not going to get it tailored there and never coming back again. I don’t need rude treatment from these people. When I first read these reviews I didn’t know how they could be true till it happened to me.

We went looking for a prom dress for my daughter and fell in love with the vast and amazing collection and the excellent service provided by the two ladies. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other prom dress stores. We just had to pick our dresses and wait for our turn to use the dressing room. They take it out of the plastic wrap, place it inside the room and before you go in, they sanitize the room and vacuum it for the next customer. They also provide alterations for those in need. We saw lot of happy girls leave the store today with their prom dresses. I am not sure why there are so many negative comments, but I would strongly recommend this store. Just a tiny suggestion , please buy only if you are 100% sure as there are no refunds or exchanges. A very pleasant experience at this store today!

If I could give a 0 I would. My cousin and I went in looking for a bridal dress for her and she saw one she liked which was a medium and we asked if she could try it on or if she a large she didn't even look at the dress and said no that was the only size she had so we asked if she had any other dresses for her she instantly said she did in a size xl or xxl so my cousin wanted to try it on and the dress was big on her chest and stomach area the zipper was able to close perfectly fine but the zipper seemed to get stuck to the material so my cousin took it off and wanted to try on another one so she asked if she had anymore in her size and again instantly said that there was no more in her size and we told her that the dress was big on her and asked for a size down but she then again said "no the zipper got stuck you need a bigger size" terrible experience wouldn't recommend to anyone very bad customer service.

ZERO STARS-WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I've been going for a couple years to go get my prom dresses here and everything g would go fine but today I went in to try on wedding dresses and try to find a style I want. I found a dress that I thought was very pretty and but it was a size M and I thought that I should try it on since I wasn't sure what size I am. An older women (not sure if she was the owner) came up to me and my cousin to ask if we needed help I said no and that we were just looking but I had a question to see if they had a L in the dress I had in my arms the dress was a bit folded and she didn't even see it and straight up said no we don't. So I told her it was fine and try this one out cause it might fit she said no it won't fit you and proceeded to take the dress out my hands and take it away, she kept saying how the dress was to small and I was a bigger size. She then gave me another dress that was an XL and said to try that on and if it was too big she would let me try on the L so I said okay and went to try it on. The dress fit to big and the zipper wasn't working properly, it would get stuck with the material and wouldn't zip all the way so she helped. I didn't like the dress since it fit pretty big and just wasn't the style I wanted. So I took it back to her and asked her if she had the smaller size she said no even though earlier she told me she did so I then asked if she had other dresses. She told me that no she doesn't think any of the dresses would fit me cause I was at least a 2XL and that even the dress I had on didn't fit me. I then told her it would zip up because of the material not that it was small and she said no it's cause I was too big which I find very offensive since I'm a M/L. WORST SERVICE EVER AND SO FAT-PHOBIC WOULD GOVE 0 STARS IF I COULD...
