Dear Head Office:Today, the clouds parted and the Sun came out, Gaby was at the Deli Counter!!! Thank heavens, we've got tickets for the show at Stern Grove in the City and Gaby's Molly Stones sandwiches are The Bomb! A great picnic is guaranteed. How so great? (1) Gaby WORKS hard, she LAYERS the meat and cheese: for the Italian combo, she puts on Mortadelo, then salami, then more Mortadelo, then more salami and provolone throughout. That way the flavors are mixed, it doesn't taste like a slab of bologna on top of a slab of salami. Then she cut the sandwiches in half and wrapped each half separately, so would work at a picnic, fantastic.(2) Gaby KNOWS! When I first came in, I asked for an Italian combo, and she delivered. I felt like I was a North Beach in the city, only it was better than most!(3) Gaby is NICE and she CARES: She makes a point of getting to know her regular customers and looks out for them. Don't eat that, it's only coming out so so today, eat this instead you'll enjoy it more.Amazing, fantastic, wonderful

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Speaking as an out of town visitor they have everything I could possibly need and more. A perfect spot for a health conscience individual wanting to get in and out. Top notch five stars highly recommend.

My favorite grocery store and more! May be a bit pricey but you get quality meats, vegetables , product and service!!! Once you shop here, you will understand and see for yourself. You will never see expired items or bad fruits / veggies either!

DO NOT shop ACE Hardwar @ Mollie Stones here! I purchased some items for a new dyer install: Before purchasing, I asked if needed, if needed if I could make a return and was told yes. I was not told I needed an approval with a my receipt. Now I am being told I need to have, the approval of a manager.

The cornerstone of this business is theft. Be prepared to pay double the price on the regular items. A lot of items do not have price tags and a lot of them that actually do are inaccurate and do not match up with the price they charge you. After paying if you don't ask for the receipt they might not give it to you so you won't discover how deep this thievery is going on. This business is net negative to the city please stop supporting it, I know a lot of people shop here because of convenience but please stop the laziness, Lucky located at 1322 El Camino Real is not that far away. Even if you use an app like Instacart to shop from Costco or Walmart it will end up being cheaper than shopping here. Please let this business go bankrupt.

I purchased some fresh wild caught Halibut for $41.11 at the meat and seafood counter and when I went to cook it it wss bad, it smelled terrible. I called the store and they wouldn't exchange it because I didn't have my receipt but I do have it in the same wrapping in which I purchased it with the date, the weight and the amount. I've been buying my fish there for 2 years and never had problems until today. Be careful of buying fish here. I will no longer be shopping here any more, I'm going to Lunardis from now on. So sad.

This place used to have the BEST deli sandwiches They've always been premium priced but it was worth the extra $$$. Not anymore. The last several visits I've been getting sandwiches with the stingiest amount of filling. I usually get the vegetarian and it used to be loaded but lately its been pathetic. If you're going to charge someone $12 for a non-meat sandwich, at least fill it up with the ingredients that cost you the least. My free sandwich card is almost full and once it is, the free sandwich will be the last I get from this place. Back to Subway...

If you are a celiac looking for safe food, stay far away from Mollie's.While they have an excellent selection of GF food, you'll never find it because the products are hidden, or "cut in" with non-GF products. You need to spend your time reading every single label to figure out if you can or cannot eat something. Now let's say you are craving a specific product, like GF tea cookies? You'll never find them. Even with two managers walking the aisles with me, it took literally half an hour to find a product that I knew that they carried because InstaCart could deliver it to me.And don't bother contacting corporate - they could care less. Take your business elsewhere, like Oceana Market in Pacifica or Draeger's in San Mateo.

Ridiculously overpriced items! Many items I've seen here can be up to $3 more than other grocery stores. Even Whole Foods is actually way cheaper (in comparison) plus you get an additional Amazon prime discount (if you gave prime). I guess if you don't give AF shop here. Otherwise it's a big no.

The best Mollie Stone's in the bay area. The parking is the safest and most convenient. The store has great produce, dairy, cheeses, salad bar, and a great selection of wines. Safeway might have more stuff, but Mollie Stone's has a good variety of gourmet items not found at Safeway.

It was great until checkout- that's where you'll find two checkout people that work there openly bickering and generally treating people poorly. Not to complain, what would that do, but sharing is caring.

The advantage of this store is the convenience. I can buy fresh juice, exotic candy, baked goods, fruit, magazines and hardware goods in a single store that has long hours and also happens to be close to my favorite hiking spot on the Peninsula, Sweeney Ridge. The disadvantage is the exorbitant prices, which is why I can't give it five stars. I try to limit my shopping at Mollie Stone's to items that are unavailable at a lower price at other retailers.

Selection: 4.25 out of 5 Great selection and mix of organic & non organic products. I love walking by the hot foods section. Environment: 5 out of 5 I enjoy always coming in. Clean store and friendly employees Price Point: 4 out 5 On the higher end of your budget, but I would still come to Mollie Stone's over Lunardi's any day. Overall: 4.25 out 5 Great neighborhood store with higher quality products and friendly service.
