Ace Hardware is an amazing place that provides excellent and helpful customer service. The store team are awesome, with associates who go above and beyond, spending time to check item availability, give helpful suggestions, and even provide tours to help pick out tools. It is a full grocery store under one roof with Mollie Stone's, featuring an awesome meat and seafood counter, lots of groceries, and a Peets coffee with seating. They also have real hardware, not the cheap stuff. Their hours are very convenient, being open until 9pm on Sunday when other stores are closed. This helpful service is the reason why brick and mortar stores can outperform online retail, making it a place customers will visit again to support local business.

Open until 9pm on Sunday! All other hardware stores were already closed Sunday night at 8pm. I drove from San Mateo to Ace in san Bruno. Ace had what I needed urgently, I got in with 4 minutes before closing. The store team are awesome.I was pleasantly shocked for the fact that this Ace is also a full grocery store.
