Bought an ls motor off this guy back in the end of February. Installed it in my Tahoe march 8. The first motor the cam bearing popped pit during install. So I had my entire Tahoe towed to the shop on march 13 after they failed to come to my house like they said they would to check the motor I had just purchased. A tow truck I had to pay for. March 13 he gets the the Tahoe and doesn't touch it even look at it til march 23. And then tells me it's going to take a week. Calls me may 1 to tell me my those is running. I go pick it up, drive it 30 miles home, as he said it was ok to drive. Towed it to the tuner on my 12 installed a basic street tune like I was told to do. Left the tune shop drove 36 miles and then it dropped a valve and the builder, and this shop is trying to claim it's not their fault and they aren't going to refund us our money. What they want is for me to pay to have the Tahoe towed back to his shop to take 2 more months to rebuild another motor, cause our time doesn't matter.

My car was low on transmission fluid and my man D helped me out big time pretty quick and very affordable this man knows what he's doing & don't worry about this heat they have have a office you can sit in with cool air. 20/10 definitely coming back.

Reasonable. Relaxed area as we waited for transmission flush. Very. Comfortable didn't try to get over on me blessed job done pet friendly place I love it and recommend him instead of aamco. Stay blessed by blessing others chocolate.. lol

They're price beat every shop in town for a clutch job. They also took the time to point out potential problems and leaks that should be addressed.A+ shop for sure.

So far so good had these guys do a rebuild on my transmission on a Ford F-350 7.3L 4x4 Customer service was excellent and my transmission is better than ever. These guys know what they are doing. Not the greatest area in berdu but well worth it

I was stranded in Big Bear on New Year's Day with my transmission not engaging. After several hours of waiting for AAA to give me a tow (that's a whole other review- I was fortunate to run across a good tow company) and navigating bumper to bumper traffic I finally got a tow to a local shop in Big Bear. I'm sure they did great work, but I think because they knew I had no other option, they wanted to charge me almost the price of the car to fix it!!! Needless to say, I called around and found that the only other shop in Big Bear was even more expensive. That's when I started calling around the bottom of the mountain.I found this shop on Google and gave them a call. Ismael, the owner took my call and I immediately felt like he was a stand up guy. He gave me honest answers and then gave me a much more reasonable quote than both of the shops in Big Bear. Also, he specializes in transmissions as opposed to an auto repair shop. He gave me a time frame that I thought was incredibly fast; and, he was right on the money! I couldn't be happier with the service, the value and the professionalism. I highly recommend Ismael and Transmission Man for anyone with transmission problems.
