Everytime I come into this place there always seems to be a cockroach. Office management really needs to step up their custodial services and possibly call pest control. This isn't fair for staff nor patients.

I went here as a child & young adult. A few of my medical issues were missed or misdiagnosed as psychological, but once I left, I found better care and none of my pain turned out to be psychological. There are other negatives that occurred. A nurse was frustrated & decided to spill my medical information to the entire waiting room. They acted like that was my fault. One of my family members was there, I was not. None of us forced that nurse to open her mouth and violate HIPPA. Her actions, her responsibility. The next negative is that someone stuck a note in my chart claiming that my father threatened Dr. Tupas. My father would never attend an appt with me or step foot in a medical building unless it was an emergency. Nobody in my family ever threatened or mistreated anyone. It was a shame because I thought he was a good doctor before that. The next negative thing is someone over the phone from either patient relations or records said "We" as in my family have been causing problems since the 90s. I never stepped foot here in the 90s. I was not a patient until 2002. The only reason I ever still came in was for my aunt with special needs to get her care. The last time she received a shot, she stated she was asked particular questions that were leading without a guardian in the room. Before, they have stated there is not enough room in the back. Well when you are dealing with minors or developmentally disabled individuals, it is a matter of law that they are allowed to have a caregiver, family member, or guardian with them. I'm trying to get more information, but the patient rep attempted to pin blame to skirt around their actions. You can speak about negative experiences without speaking badly about anyone specifically. I didn't get that same respect and grace when my family and I were accused of always causing problems in a time period I didn't even go here and then when I did. I was a CHILD for most of my time there.

My mom goes to this medical group and the lab procedures are a joke! Most patients are elderly and there is no one available to help them. So you have to bang on the door to get help and then the lab tech lady was rude. My mom will be changing insurances in October. Our elderly patients deserve better.

They cancelled my appointment to see a dr so that I can get re-referred to my specialist under my new insurance A WEEK before my appointment. Now they don’t have anything available until the day before I’m supposed to see my specialist, which obviously isn’t going to work because it takes longer than a day to get a referral.I scheduled this appointment over a month ago so that I would be able to get in on time to see my specialist. I have a serious medical condition that I have to be seen for and get blood tests done for every month. I already pushed back my appointment with my specialist by a month so that I would have time to get re-referred. I can’t wait another month to get blood tests and to be seen, that would be very dangerous for my health.They told me to call my insurance to see if I could be seen at another location, but everywhere else didn’t have anything available until around the same time. I called them back to see what could be done because I really need to get in to see someone, and the woman who I spoke to was very rude. She also told me that the dr is out because of maternity leave and that’s why they had to cancel.People don’t just suddenly become pregnant and need to go on maternity leave a week before they’re due. They would have known she was going to be leaving around this time, so the fact that they scheduled me and then canceled only a week before is ridiculous.I did everything I was supposed to in a timely manner, and because of their disregard for other people’s health, I now have to stress and call around to every single office in my area to try to find someone I can get in to see on time so that I can get my tests, be seen by my specialist and get my prescriptions and don’t end up in the hospital. This is people’s health you’re dealing with. I shouldn’t have to worry about ending up in the hospital because of their incompetence.

Impossible to get a hold of the department you need and they are back to requiring masks. Absolutely ridiculous we're still doing this in 2024.

Horrible; avoid AMANDA ARDESSI, FNP. My new doctor wasn’t available to see me until April 3, 2024 so I had to see Amanda Ardessi, FNP in order to get medical treatment. Amanda said she would not prescribe me strong pain medication because it required additional paperwork and she simply does not do that. I asked her “What is the treatment plan for my pain?”and she simply repeated that she didn’t prescribe the pain medication I needed because it required extra work. Now I have to wait two weeks for a referral to be approved to see an orthopedic surgeon without any pain management. Amanda displayed a lack of professionalism; she disregarded my concerns. Avoid making an appointment with this fraud that can’t be bothered to do extra work even when it’s medically necessary. I was treated poorly. I respect people in the medical profession. My daughter is currently studying to be a doctor. However, this lady should not be practicing medicine if doing her job is an inconvenience.This is appalling.

They are lazy & unprofessional, and will not assist you, especially, when in dire need. I had to call and beg beg beg them to fax a referral. It’s a full time job just trying to get a referral faxed. There is NO quality assurance or quality of care at this organization. They push big Pharma, which really isn’t surprising. If you ask or recommend another specialty Dr., they will only refer you to their 1 star buddies. If you have severe medical issues or condition, don’t go here. I’m thinking about Arrowhead or Kaiser.

Great service... just be on time! Staff are nice and attentive. NP is the best thing about my visit. Well knowledgeable and willing to offer services and recommendations.

I usually never leave a bad review because I feel really bad but this was beyond terrible. I went in this morning I had an appointment at 11:00 am when they made my appointment over the phone about 3 months ago they said that they were only available till now June 14 and I'm like wow they're really that booked I mean sheesh. The day comes to my appointment and when I made my appointment I made sure I had the right address and right Dr yet when I left to my appointment 30 minutes early to do paperwork etc I come to find out they sent me to a completely different location and turns out I had a different Dr LMAO and the lady there said she would call the place and let them know I was on my way just in case I was late !! so I ended up going to the right location right at my appointment time 11:00 AM, I get there and I stand in line there is two people in-front of me and the receptionist looks at me and says "what's your name" shouts it in-front of everyone so I respond with my name and she tells me to sit down and already I knew it was a bad place but still had hope unfortunately. I think they didn't care how they talked to me because I am young I'm 22 years old yet I work in a dental office and I know how to treat a patient regardless of age. Then whatever I don't get no type of paperwork I need to do or show them my insurance card they just call me in and the lady was very nice to me so was the Dr. and I forgot to ask the Dr for a referral slip to an ob so they had me waiting for over an hour then finally someone comes and takes me to another location and says the next available appointment for a physical isn't till September and I'm still trying to be understanding so I book an appointment whatever and I ask her about a referral slip and about my insurance card because I had gotten married and my name obviously changed and she said the front will take care of it so i'm like okay cool and then she tells me that for the referral slip i had to talk to the Dr so I'm like okay it's my mistake but she was rushing because I guess they had to go to lunch which I am very understanding but patients always go first. She tells me I won't receive a referral slip until 7-10 business days through mail lol I could not believe it I still tried to be nice and said okay and she said I was good to go so I go back to the receptionist and she was talking to a coworker I believe they were on the computer talking I'm not sure if she was training her or whatever so I waited again patiently and like 3 minutes later she goes " excuse me whatever you need to get done will be done at your next visit " I walked the hell out of there said nothing I NEVER EVER WANT TO RETURN TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE!!! I could not believe the care they give to patients she thinks because I am young I don't matter ? If I can give this place no stars I genuinely would this is so terrible please don't ever think of coming here.

Stay the hell away from this place! Ever since OPTUM bought this place, it has gone right down the toilet regarding communication, customer service, and referrals. They have a fantastic doctor named Dr. Lee-Jackson. She genuinely cares about her patients, and works as hard as she can to adjust to the crappy work ethic that's foisted on her since Optum took over. Before Optum took over last year; I'd get a response from the patient portal in a day or maybe 2. Since optum took over, it takes several days, and even then the information isn't very helpful. The people at the front desk do not look you in the eye. Their actions show that you're nothing but a number to them (Am I the only one who gets annoyed when a person's first attempt at identifying you is a NUMBER? In this case your date of birth?). I was referred to get a CT SCAN for a chronic and worsening problem. The dude who did the scan said: "Your doctor ordered the results stat. So they should be there this Monday." I waited...waited....waited. Finally HAD TO GO INTO MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE, because they wouldn't return my calls. They told me that the results weren't in. I called the people who sent the CT scan, and they DID SEND IT LIKE THEY SAID! So, if that's not bad enough, the surgeon who reviewed my results does not see patients after 4 (whereas when this medical group was independent; I was able to discuss results when I got off work...Not anymore!). His secretary set up a phone appointment. I called...Waited...Waited on the phone for 45 minutes, and then the surgeon gets on the "zoom", with FIVE MINUTES LEFT BEFORE I HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK. Did he discuss my results? NO! HE COULDN'T HEAR ME! My mike was DEFINITELY ON, and this guy couldn't hear me. His last words were: "We'll call you back!"...Has he called me back? You know darn well the answer: NO! NO HE HASN'T! I'm walking around life nervous about if I need surgery, if my condition is worsening as I wait for surgery, and if there's anything I can do before surgery; and I get NO HELP FROM ANYONE WORKING FOR OPTUM. I'm currently searching for other medical groups that aren't owned by Optum. This company has single-handedly screwed up what was once a warm, caring, group that employed one of the finest doctors I ever worked with. Do yourself a favor. If you're considering this medical group; then save yourself some time and frustration and just look up your symptoms on Wikipedia, or something. You'll get better communication from a WEBSITE than you will from this "medical group" turned into a boiler room (I'm being sarcastic here, but you get my point). I'm warning you for your own health and sanity: STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ANYTHING OWNED BY OPTUM. Don't get mad at me when you join, get screwed, and left alone to wonder your medical fate.
