I had union-negotiated, employer-provided health insurance with Kaiser Permanente.I had appendicitis. I asked for an x-ray and was told by Kaiser Permanente medical personnel, "we aren't allowed to order any expensive and unnecessary tests" by a doctor and a physician assistant during two separate visits after being told by an emergency room doctor (who also couldn't order "expensive and unnecessary tests") to make a primary physician appointment after the emergency room doctor denied my first request for an x-ray. The physician ASSistant had the nerve to tell me, "you freckly people are always trying to get pain meds". He also said, "you are depressed and your depression is making you think you are in pain."Prejudices affect all skin colors. Pale people are discriminated against, too.Both doctors and the physician assistant were males and all three told me I was experiencing menstrual cramps.I read through my Kaiser Permanente Patient Rights and Responsibilities and learned that I had to be over 100 miles from a Kaiser facility to be seen at a non-Kaiser emergency room. I had my husband drive me to the tiny emergency room in Big Bear because it was far enough away from Kaiser for me to be seen outside of Kaiser. The Big Bear emergency room doctor listened; unlike the union-negotiated, employer-provided Kaiser Permanente insurance incompetents. The Big Bear doctor ordered my x-ray which showed a bowel obstruction, he then ordered a CT-scan which showed an abscessed appendix.I was transported by ambulance down to Kaiser for surgery. At Kaiser they just wanted to stick a needle into the abscess and drain it. Fortunately, the CT-scan they ordered showed that my intestines had ballooned and were blocking my appendix. So, they FINALLY agreed to open me up. During surgery they discovered necrotic intestine which also had to be removed. I was septic and dying. I would be dead if they had left that necrotic bowel inside my body.Kaiser Permanente medical personnel blamed me, my body was bloated from sepsis, they called me fat. They told me I should have come in sooner.My first ER visit was in June 2008. The Big Bear ER doctor saved my life on September 21, 2008. My appendix had ruptured after the first ER visit and then abscessed. That abscess grew until it blocked my intestines. I was vomiting feces the day I went to the Big Bear emergency department.I was literally ignored by Kaiser Permanente employees and sent home to die of appendicitis.I called dozens of lawyers, including those who claim to be Kaiser Permanente specific. Since I hadn't died, they didn't care. Some of those lawyers even had the nerve to say there was no money in it for them. Not one was willing to help. Kaiser Permanente didn't even get a slap on the wrist.Kaiser Permanente patients have no legal rights. Patients are only allowed arbitration which no lawyer actually wants to do.Kaiser Permanente kills. If you actually survive, your body will be butchered.Medical malpractice PTSD is crippling and never-ending.My body was butchered.I lost my job.My peace of mind was shattered.No one cared. No one listened.My voice was silenced.Internet reviews shall be my vengeance.Hell hath no fury like a freckly, pale faced female.Go ahead and sue me Kaiser Permanente, give me what I need to sue you right back. Let's take this public. I would love nothing more than to face you soulless monsters and make your evil policy public knowledge.

I love my Kaiser office in San Bernardino , mr dr is retiring and I can say I’m sad but she deserves it she has put in the work , my female dr has been my Dr since I was a freshman in high school and I’m 24 now she will be missed, I also was informed by Kaiser a few days ago that this review was picked up by administration and because of that dr smith recieved nice retirement messages, emails from all kind of big medical people and she said I really made her retirement day I’m honored that I was able to do that makes me feel really good that I was able to make someone day well wishes to you Dr smith on your next journey.

Pharmacy is slow and you will be there for 30 minutes to a hour. They are not friendly or understanding and barely helpful. Your best bet is to go to Redlands. Anywhere but here!

I don't know what happened to the quality of the service the pharmacy use to have with the patients if you wait in the pharmacy they take up to 3 hours to fill your prescriptions I wait for 2 hours and 40 minutes and I left.Than I try to reach the pharmacy by phone and the automatic service Response was the waiting time is greater than 3 hours is this a joke!.My medication can't wait I use blood thinners and other medications for heart disease and they careless every since they offered prescriptions by mail they got lazy and rude I use to love Kaiser Permanente now they are worse than community hospitals.My premium is not cheap I pay $507.00 per month and this is the way they care for patients and their lives definitely I may not renew my coverage with them I have been with kaiser since 2005.Now i can't recommend this health care provider Fontana is the same wha a ridiculous and mediocre service they provide to us the only good thing they have now are the dedicated doctor's but this is not enough loma linda has good doctors as well .

This is my local Kaiser , I loved going to see my doctor she along with all of my doctors are the greatest, however the pharmacy has really changed, they kept me waiting for over 3 hours to the point I had to send my son for my medication that was not completed even after I ordered most all of it online through the app. The lab staff were rude that day an used me as their punching bag trying to get blood. It was an awful experience that day. I still can't believe ? ? it .

Update: i tried to email the person who responded and the email address is no good.My lastest experience at kaiser was a disaster. I dislike kaiser immensely and will probably not come back next year after being a loyal patient for 10 or so years.I arrived for my covid booster and was told that about 2 or 3 weeks ago they quit doing them there. I made the appt on the app and it gave me a choice of where I wanted to get it, I choose the SB clinic, I even checked the appt time this morning and it also said the appt was at the Date St. And again the lady working the door was rudeIt takes forever to get an appt and when you do the office workers are rude when you ask for help. I waited 30 min for my Dr. And now waiting at least 20 min for xray. And to top it off they want you to show up 20 min early. I do not recommend.

Most unorganized place i have seen. Lab not open till 8:30 but you can't go there till all the appointments are checked in. RUDE Security staff. When Open enrollment comes i am goung back to Blue Cross gave them a chance for 2 years never again.

Date place Kaiser Permanente in San Bernardino is a small location.It has a pharmacy, doctor offices, and lab.Doesn't have any ER services or Ugent care.Employees at this location have always been curious and super helpful.Especially the pharmacy staff they are all super friendly.Overall it's very well maintained and ran.

I had to refill my prescriptions, this place is awesome, I guess not too many people know about this place. I walked in, and the pharmacy is right up front. The guy helping me was super friendly, and this place is super convenient. This might be my new pharmacy
