Why is it takes five minutes to buy something and 35 minutes to return something? Quite frustrating. Love the product selections, prices are fine, customer service at the store needs serious improvement. I'd recommend Ace Hardware as an example of model customer service.

no stars!!! this home depot has the worst customer service ever. after purchasing the fabulous lg all in one last week, i'm an unhappy camper due to terrible service. three scheduled appointments did not happen. i canceled the transaction as a result, even with the help from corporate. no more home depot for me, i'm headed to lowe's! signed, disgruntled customer

Went in to purchase some vinyl vertical blinds asked 4 different employees if I could have some assistance because the blinds needed to be cut was told each time someone was on their way and no one ever showed up after waiting over 30 minutes and speaking with Andres the assistant manager and being told someone was coming I decided to leave empty handed Definitely bad customer service overall, hard to believe all employees were occupied assisting other customers when there's 4 employees standing around talking about their weekend plans and according to them none of them could assist

This place is trash. Not only is the store disorganized, dirty and a safety hazard the manager, Serena, is just as bad. I purchased a car battery with a three year replacement warranty from them in May of 2023, well the battery went dead after a cold snap we had and I took it in to get replaced. Well not only does the Home Depot not honor the warranty of a battery they are an authorized dealer for but they told me the warranty was only good for 90 days from the date of purchase NOT the three years as stated on the battery and what they told me when I bought it from them in May. So now I am out $178 and no recourse but to just eat the cost of a new battery. Shameful. Serena was absolutely not help and refused to do anything. She didn't even want to meet with me and had another employee tell me that I was SOL. If I could give The Home Depot negative stars I would.

This Home Depot has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The employees here are incredibly unhelpful. And that's if you can even find an employee. I finally found someone, he announced on the PA system but no one ever showed up.

I went to cashier jerome walk up to him I said hello he ignored me didn't even tell me my total I had to look at the screen. I paid him and said thank you when he recieved my payment but he did not even respond you're welcome he once again ignored to acknoledge me again very unprofessional

Great customer service every time I needed it. Managers are always helpful. I had a problem with my military discount not working and the manager got it corrected. Thanks to all at The Home Depot.

Calls won't get answered for 30-50 mins. Bad management.. if you tell them about it they just don't even acknowledge it

I don't even know where to begin! I went to this Home Depot to go buy Plants , etc I also saw that the the Raid was buy one get one free and so I did , I went to go check out when I went with this cashier called Genesis and I bought this painting that was on clearance and she charged me the normal price and I asked her about it and she started to get angry and use a tone on me when I kept asking her about it to make sure and she was scanning my items that I had on a cart that were big items and she scanned them and had to lift one of them and she threw it so roughly and answered in rude ways, the staff is not such great people at all some are and some aren't but this lady definitely was not.

I ordered a new refrigerator from Home Depot. The refrigerator was scheduled to be delivered to me between 11 and three today. I did not get any call from them yesterday confirming the delivery today. I called it Home Depot they advised me that the window was for between 11 and three. I checked my email it says the same delivery window . And the new refrigerator will have to go through my back doors. I had to get ready for the delivery. I unloaded my front refrigerator and moved my large oak table out of the way so that they could come through the back doors. I kept looking at my tracking and noticing that there was nothing changing 3 o'clock came, and there was no delivery or call. I called the hotline for appliance delivery this time I was given the news that they won't be able to deliver until Friday because of the weather, they cannot be bothered to give me a quick phone call and say we won't be able to deliver till Friday. I now have to put everything back in my refrigerator move my table back to its original location. Repeat the entire process on Friday. I I cannot believe the lack of professional courtesy on the part of these folks. I cannot believe that they didn't even bother to call me after the hotline got a hold of them. I will never have another delivery by Home Depot. I mean, this wasn't even a stove or a washer dryer. It was a refrigerator. I am sure they are well aware that we store food in our refrigerator. This is beyond a shadow of a doubt the least professional delivery service I've ever had, and believe me I have had many my next recipient for this letter is going to be Home Depot corporate offices.

I came to the Home Depot on 21st Street in San Bernardino to return some items that I had purchased here back towards the end of December and I was greeted by Serena I wouldn't say greeted however I was approached by Serena who works in the returns after she asked me what she could help me with her following question was what door did I come in as if she can't one look at the cameras herself or two what does that matter what door I came in. After we concluded that I came in the door directly behind me or behind her desk she then told me that she couldn't return anything any of the items that I had and if she did she was going to have to put it on the Visa card however my husband's wallet was stolen just a few days ago we're going through the process of having to get all new cards a new driver's license and it happened in their parking lot. So now the items were trying to return which isn't a lot of money maybe under $40 they are telling me that they can't do anything for me excuse me Serena told me that I asked her if I could speak with the manager and she had a manager come over who had more conversation with his fellow employees about covid then he did with me about what could be done to find a solution to the problem at hand. He told me he could refund one of the items I said fine by this point I was frustrated and I was upset and I just wanted to be not in front of them anymore so Serena ran the return and they gave me store credit when I was just told by the manager I was going to get a refund. Manager came back over again told me that oh no they don't give refunds first they don't give store credit to people who have a receipt which made no sense to me because I had the receipt. Manager ran the whole return over and he told me that he had to put it back to the Visa card because it ran as a credit I told him we did not own a credit card and it was a Visa gift card if anything he proceeded to not care and told me to take the product home and do something else with it then I was appalled not only did Serena embarrass me now the manager was making me feel stupid that I was attempting to return an item that I should just take home and do something else with. He handed me the store credit card that had $12.47 on it I told him thank you and I will not return to the store ever again I don't care how close it is to my home how close it is to my work I will never return to the store again until they get a new staff and their returns department because Serena one has no business working in customer service nor does that customer or does that manager. I hope this post doesn't go unnoticed and maybe somebody from Home Depot will actually do something about the staff that they have in San Bernardino.

Awesome customer service. Was looking for a Halloween item that I could find on display at multiple stores but no one had available stock. Whenever I asked if I could purchase the display every other store said I would have to come back and check if it was still available. Ran into the manager David at this location and was given a card and he told me to check with him in a few day. I emailed him a week later and received a reply. David tried to find one available for me to purchase and after having no luck said he would take down the display and hold it for me. I never expected to receive a call or response but David went out of his way to help. When I arrived at the store to purchase and pick it up David was off but his entire team were friendly and went above and beyond how a customer should be treated. I don't live in the area but next time I'm looking for something I know where to start!!!

This store is absolutely terrible. Ordered a 12' fiberglass ladder on the Home Depot app. When I came to pick it up, they had reserved a 10' aluminum ladder. Totally unacceptable. When we walked to where the ladders were, 10' aluminum ladders were in the place marked for 12' fiberglass ladders. So, all because nobody cared to look to verify, I wasted a good part of morning, leaving the store empty handed, which cost my company about half the price of the ladder by paying me to get nothing. The girl at the service desk was helpful in correcting it and getting a new ladder at a different store ordered, but the wasted time justifies giving this store only one star in my opinion.
