I went to look for earrings because I had lost my earrings. I did not want to try them on. Next thing you know the lady is literally putting the earring in my ear without me having had even said yes. I explained that I had not had something in my ear for probably over 2 years. I find this very unsanitary. The earrings were beautiful and I may have bought them if it weren’t for this experience. It triggered my anxiety and ocd. I did not see them wipe them with any alcohol I just saw a towel which looked dry that they used to wipe it after it had been put in my ear. I am a healthcare provider so of course I worry about the sanitation of this especially if the earring was pushed into my ear as I hadn’t had anything in it for over two years. She was very pushy about selling the earrings, but putting that in my ear without my consent was unnecessary.
