Every time I need a refill on breathing medication this pharmacy will put on hold, delay, state out of stock, or say the 1 remaining refill is not appropriate quantity. This pharmacy on a continuous basis withholds my medication. I am looking to switch pharmacies immediately, due to the psychological/physical stress of constant begging/battling with Emmanuel Asiamah The Pharmacy Manager to get my breathing medication refilled. I'm filing formal complains of their unethical practices. I'm not the only one either, please see the numerous google reviews of complaints. If you have similar issues please file complaint with corporate office and board of pharmacies in Sacramento.

-5 stars if I could. The worse pharmacy, the employees do not care to be there, they will let the phone ring and no one will answer. My Dr was on hold while I was there and I told them but didn't care to pick up the call. They move at the slower pace and don't even do anything. Do better.

Terrible customer service takes more than 20-40mins on the phone to even talk to someone; never let you know when a prescription is ready for pick up; makes you wait DAYS to WEEKS to get psychiatric meds or pain meds if they even have them. Watched 5 people behind the counter help no one. They do not give what they are supposed to for complaints; they are terrible and need to be reviewed by the stateCall the California pharmacy board to file complaints for their misconducts

this cvs is so bad they never have my needles ready and I always end up taking my medication late, they have me on hold for 30mins everytime and aren’t helpful. They constantly tell me the wrong days on when things will be ready

Been getting metamucil and second time they told me it was inactive. Also they never answer phone I live close by but don't want to take bus ? to another pharmacy, this place fell apart after after Emmanuel took over, will complain to corporate again you failure

Don’t close five minutes early. That’s unprofessional. Needs a new manager. People were out in front. Edit: classes at 10. It’s 9. It’s closed. People are sick and they close an hour early? Biden administration killing folks.

Customer service in the pharmacy sucks! They won't answer their phones, they have no sense of urgency, they have one person working the pick up and drive thru. Managers don't hop on to help so the wait time for a prescription is over an hour sometimes! I've been on hold for the pharmacy for almost an hour now with no one picking up!

The pharmacy staff is ok. but the others?. 2 employees followed me into the store and talked about me while I was paying, they commented and looked at whether I paid for everything I had, all because a man asked me to buy him something to eat, my question is why they let him in if he He saw that he was homeless and if he paid for what the man wanted, he said he was hungry and didn't ask for money, he asked for food. Note: i understand english.

My RiteAid pharmacy has closed and my Rx's were transferred to this CVS. I called the pharmacy to speak to someone about getting a refill for my insulin and was on hold for 10 min. Called the next day and was on hold for 30 min. Frustrated I went to the pharmacy and became even more frustrated. The associate that assisted me confirmed my records were transferred and I could wait 30 minutes for it which I did. While waiting I noticed some things that were bothersome. There was a continuous overhead call notifying staff that there was a phone call waiting and no one was making an effort to answer the phone. The plastic partitions between customers and employees were dirty and looked like they had never been cleaned. The flooring was filthy especially in front of the pharmacy. As I walked through the store it was a mess. My prescription was ready before 30 min and was then informed that the pharmacist had some questions for me so waited in the consultation line for 10 minutes and was never acknowledged by the pharmacist who was obviously busy do I left. The associates in the pick up line were helpful and pleasant. As I waited I observed the other employees in the pharmacy and it appeared that none of them were happy to be there. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy because it was obvious, at least to me, that this store does not care about those that go to this store.

i used to always recommend this CVS because Isreal in the pharmacy is great!! he still is great but while having covid and trying to figure out insurance over the phone the manager of the pharmacy Emmanuel LIED to me and said he was all alone and that I needed to come in person to update insurance information. He stated he was “too busy to help over the phone”. I responded and said that doesn’t make sense as to why you would want me to come in person to make the line longer if he’s alone. I told him I am POSITIVE WITH COVID and that’s why I was trying to quarantine and be responsible by taking care of everything over the phone. He said “come in” and hung up on me. I came in and there was him and TWO other workers behind the pharmacy and he was clearly NOT busy, I live 3 minutes away so I was there immediately after speaking with him over the phone, NO LINE INSIDE and 1 person in the drive thru, which he was having everyone else help while he sat on his computer. He told me I need a bunch of extra information so I sat in the store WITH COVID and called my insurance, he did not offer me a mask or anything knowing I had covid. When I got the information for insurance I told him I had it, he IGNORED ME and the other pharmacist that has always been nice, Isreal, took it upon himself to help me when he noticed me being ignored. I will NOT come back because he knowingly and unnecessarily made a person with covid come in store for something that could have been taken care of over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. The store manager Jay was nice and tried to help us with whatever he could, but he has no control over the pharmacy because Emmanuel is the MANAGER and told me I needed to come in store to update my insurance.

This review is just for the pharmacy not the actual store. So yesterday was the first time I ever picked up medication from here since my doctor accidentally sent it to the CVS and not the one I usually go to. There was about five people ahead of me, and I was standing in line for almost 45 minutes. Everyone in that line was just picking up medication so I'm honestly not too sure on why it will take so long. So today I tried calling because my doctor sent over more medication for me and first time I called I was waiting for someone to pick up. I was on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back and again I was on hold for another 20 minutes, so I ended up calling another cvs pharmacy closer to home , and literally took five minutes to finish conversation have everything transferred out. I am highly dissatisfied with this pharmacy.
