“I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Gibson House for Women - You saved me, and my family ❤️

“My mother started attending in October and it is such a good feeling that she looks forward and feels excited attending this school. I personally am a volunteer and I myself have a wonderful time. I am so blessed to have found this school for my mother. Everyone has received us with open arms”
“All the attendants are very helpful, one of a few places where you can shower, gets clothes , and eat lunch in one place. God bless those people, because it's not easy dealing with the general homeless public.”
“I haven’t been Their but I would like to be a part of the group. My father was in the army he had a military funeral up in Boise Idaho at the VA hospital, my brother Tim was a medic in the army and he served in the big hospital over in Germany, and my brother Paul was a Marine and served in Vietnam. I would like to be an active part of the group that volunteers and goes to the VA in Loma Linda and visit the CLC the community living center where veterans live there because I have no place to go. I was a volunteer there until Covid came down they wouldn’t let them volunteers in. I still have connections with the leader ship there but I can’t go in. I’m responding today because I got something in the mail from them a survey and I said hey do you still remember me.”
“Excellent Customer Service, Harry Camble and the other volunteers are SO sweet and kind…I just came for emotional support and still received the highest hospitality ✨”

“I went to Rolling Start, Inc. yesterday for their awesome Resource Fair to get my second COVID-19 booster and I received so much more than a shot in my arm! They are the nicest, kindest and welcoming folks I have met. There were several booths set up with an abundance of items to give us. They were well organized and set up the booths behind the building which provided us with plenty of shade. They set up chairs for us to wait our turn and handed out nice cold bottles of water. Everyone working was eager to help us and they made it a very pleasant place to be. They gave us an emergency backpack that even included a solar power to çharge our phones and tablets in a power outage or other emergency. And to top all of this goodness off, they gave us a $50 Visa gift card and IEHP was there and gave members $50 WalMart gift cards too! Non-members of IEHP got substantial gifts too. I am so glad I went there and hope to have further interactions with this impressive non profit who really cares about helping those of us living with challenging health and wellness issues. They are a truly accommodating company who cares! Thank you so much Rolling Start for a wonderful experience above all of my expectations!!!”

“Excellent place, they are a love of people, they help you answer your questions and it feels like family, super friendly and very fast, the lawyer Gaby always helps us, always ready, thank you very much ?”
“Receptionist is brilliant she went above and beyond to help me find a referral to another agency when my insurance did not cover services for my autism evaluation in this location. She even sat down with me and called my provider to advocate for me. She even wrote down information to help me navigate this process in post it notes. As a low income first gen student with no parental support this has been incredibly helpful and she helped me make the appointment with my provider in another agency when I couldn't make one here. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She is the example of what it means to be a leader in the workforce.”
“They're giving away free turkeys to 1500 families I was the first one here. I've been here since 4: 00a.m. this morning. They've changed a lot you have to register online now. They always have great events thank you community action partnership of San Bernardino CA.”

Great staff, really clean, fun, and did I mention the snacks and rewards are awesome too?? Shout out to team 2010-2013!!!Alyssa K. Macias”
“It is not often that I can write a positive review regarding providers in the special needs community. My consumer service coordinator, Alisa Payne has been an amazing resource for my family. She has been supportive in the most chaotic times. Always offering alternative ideas and support. Thank you Ms.Payne for all your help.”
“I had a great experience during my 16 week parenting course, and although I attended class via zoom I was still able to learn a lot thanks to Jason and Angelica, they taught in a way that was very informative and relevant. I also want to thank Christina for her support especially when I felt like I had none, and making me feel comfortable when it came to resources. Thank you Walden Family Services.”
