Like others have mentioned, they have a knack for selling tires that are out of round then refusing to take them back because they’ve been mounted. How else would you know they had an issue without having them mounted? After they drug out the return request for 6 weeks and making me jump through hoops sending a multitude of pictures and videos I was offered 50 percent back on one out of four tires. I was then told it’s “highly unlikely” all of my tires had an issue. Clearly not as evidenced by other reviews, some of which they’ve publicly answered so they’re well aware of it. I’m convinced this place sells reject/defect tires that didn’t make it through QC at the manufacturer and they have a ridiculous return policy in place so the customer gets stuck with them. Spend your money elsewhere

Disappointed with the customer service provided by their service department. Super excited that I got a used bike and needed to have it serviced.
We live over an hour away, and we called to get a price quote. The service attendant on the phone was dismissive. He gave us the quote for labor but when we asked for total cost with parts, he kept repeating "plus parts". When we said we need the actual cost, he said we would have to call the parts department! Wow! Couldn't get that information for the customer! We have 4 motorcycles that we would need to have serviced. Plus, getting gear!
They don't care about the customer. Find another shop. They come across as too big to care!!

Great staff and excellent customer service. Little bit expensive (I'm from the UK), but I guess that's just the way it is in California.

Well, today at Chaparral totally sucked!. In the last few years, I probably spent upwards to $45,000.00.
Was told our tires were there only to drive 2 hours one way, then wait 3 damn hours to hear they can't find them.
Chaparral just lost a $1,500.00 sale, and we will never shop there again.
Warning to all if you don't have 7 hours to hang out.. go somewhere else!

This place is always good, never had anything to complain. Friendly and quick phone service, fair pricing. Fast service. I got my tires changed quick for the 3rd time now. Huge inventory.

We have been shopping here since they opened, one of our favorite places to spend $. Well not today. We came in to go shopping today for new gear, helmets pants ect. Unfortunately we walked out empty handed. The 2 lady's upfront behind the counter must have been on break or maybe just pretending to work there, because they were absolutely rude and no help. The lack of customer service should be very concerning considering it's literally their job. They had no carts to put kids in or products. And heaven forbid one out of the 2 doing absolutely nothing but gossiping upfront got off their butts and did their job. We have noticed a huge shift in service and product since 2021. Unfortunately there are places closer with better service we will be shopping at now.

Purchased a set of Dunlop elite 4 tires in May 2021. Front tire has now split at sidewall. Local shop read manufacturers date code and determined tire was made in 2015. Chapparel Motorsports sold me a tire over 6 years old. Won’t remedy. Buyer beware!

I bought my bike used and I brought it to Chaparral Motorsports to have it checked out and have some maintenance done on it.
I talk to Gus Chacon he was great I told him my concerns about the bike. Gus found out the details on it and had the service crew look it over. He reassured me that the bike was in good condition. I did need the sprockets and chain replaced. I knew that it needed that.
He didn't try to sell me on things that it didn't need. Gus is very honest and knows what he's doing. I definitely appreciate that. My previous bike I worked on myself because I really didn't trust mechanics to be honest and not oversell. Unfortunately I can no longer work on my bike so it was nice to know that I found somebody I could trust to take care of my bike for me.
Big thank you to Gus Chacon for helping me out with my bike. I will be returning for my maintenance and any other issues I have with my bike to have them fix it.

Absolutely, hands-down, the best purchasing experience and customer service I've had in years. I've been searching for new tires for my lawn tractor for days now, and finally settled on some Amazon ones. Typed them into Google and for whatever reason this identical tire popped up from Chapparal and was on sale for $50 cheaper than the Amazon ones. Thought the tread pattern or ply rating or something had to be different... Nope. Same tire. But Amazon got here to Missouri in two days, and Chapparal was in Caliornia which I ship to every day with work and it's always 5 days. Really needed them by the weekend but thought, I could wait the extra 3-4 days to save the $50 bucks. However, anymore seems like everyone takes 2-3 days to ship stuff they have on the shelf in stock. So I had them in my cart but decided to call just to see how long they thought it would take to get here. Guy named Ryan in Sales picked up the phone immediately and I told him I had some tires in my cart but was wondering about shipping time to Missouri. He said, "Tell ya what, I'll have them ship from the Michigan warehouse and make sure they go out today and you'll have them for sure in 3 days." Then asked if I had bought from them before and when I said I had not, he immediately added a 5% discount - which isn't much but it's purely principal to me haha. Asked if I could just pay over the phone cause I'm old-school and he said absolutely and had me squared away in two minutes. I hung up and seriously thought I had been scammed haha. Ryan was amazing, happy, polite and personable - so much so I thought I got bamboozled. This was yesterday on 10/16. Today, on 10/17, my wife texts me at noon and says, "You just had some tires dropped off." I about shit, they came next day. I have two lawn tractors, a 4-wheeler, and a SXS and I'll never search for tires again. I'll go straight to the Chapparal website because of the way Ryan treated me and handled business.

Sold me a defective tire. Charging me return shipping. Now I have to pay to have it removed from the wheel and again to have a new tire mounted. They are saying up to 8 weeks to hear from the manufacturer if it even will be warranteed. Then what? Do I get another tire? So I either wait 2 months to hear or get a tire I won't need? Terrible service. Offered a 5% coupon off my next purchase. What a joke. I thought using a California company would help, clearly not.

Really wanted to give this place a try, my first experience of getting a bike was literally the most easiest thing in the world. But man if I knew what I was getting myself into. Purchased a bike, brought it in during their recommended time frame of 500 miles, just to get a tune up, thought it was gonna be something they would fix up really fast. But apparently, was I in for a surprise. I'm waiting 4 weeks for my WORK bike, and it has set me on a huge inconvenience.
Do not recommend this place at all if you're new going into bikes. And they double charged me for a bike they couldn't even fix. And recommended more parts afterwards. It feels like a major scam. Avoid at all costs.
