I was in this town in 1995 to provide security service for my buddy's wedding in the only hall room that they have there bcuz he thought cholos would be an issue during his reception. To his surprise, those guys stayed away and did not bother us at all. Of course, we were legally loaded just in case....lol good town anyways.

One pump more or less working, mid-grade only. Good for emergency fueling.

Great place for a convenience store think 7/11 and apu from the simpsons. Ya it's not the greatest but they do have decent burritos and lots of drink choices. Yes it might be a little over priced but think of how much more you might spend in gas going to the next town. This was nice to have near Williams Hill Recreation since the cafe across the street closed early.

They are the only gas station for miles. No public restroom. Two portapotties outside and one was locked. The one that was open was absolutely vile. Unfortunately my young daughter had to use it so we tried to make it as comfortable as we could. There's a rest stop a few miles away - if you can hold it until then, do so, otherwise you're better off pulling off to the side of the highway to go!

Best Gas when you need it most…. almost run out of gas. prices are little bit expensive… its supply and demand on rural farm road. regular was sold out only mid grade and diesel was available. old manual pump. Owners are nice…. place was pretty dark dusty road. Horrible toilet for paying customer all they got is a smelly portable potty outside.

Very nice customer service, for a small rural store in the middle of nowhere they had what we needed. Ice and cold drinks. Thanks!

San Ardo is a tiny little town without much to its name. This store is about what you'd expect for a town like that, but I like it nonetheless. There are a couple of porta-potties outside which were greatly appreciated given that the rest stop to the south was closed (WHY?). The gas pumps are probably about 50 years old and you have to talk to the woman inside to prepay. Gas prices are on the high side so I just got $20 worth. We did find a few snacks to hold us over and the woman behind the counter was as sweet as the fruits they grow in the area. If you need to gas and/or go, San Ardo is your best option because it's about your only option.

Horrible and unfriendly service. Rest stops on this route are closed and we were directed to this location as nearest gas station and rest area. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 20 minutes to next gas station. No rest rooms in the store, we were directed to the restaurant across the street . Who is same owner by the way. Did not want to allow my 87 year old Mom to use the restroom. When I asked to buy water so I was a “paying customer” straight up lied about not having water when I could clearly see it in the cooler. I called him out on it and purchased 3 bottles. He reluctantly had to open up bathroom for my Mom. Felt uneasy.

Nice cashier, no 91 octane, ancient pumps that don't take credit cards, no bathroom, just filthy outhouses

I was driving long distance and was extremely low on gas with no gas stations or exits close to one in sight on the US-101N. I searched on the map, and closest was San Ardo Liquors. Gas wasn't cheap but there were no other options. It looks like an old-style gas pump, so that was interesting.
