“I own a leg press machine - purchased a few years ago. Recently I needed it moved to a different room and it had to be dismantled in order to do so. The young man that came was able to move it carefully, quickly and neatly and he was extremely pleasant. The price seemed reasonable to me for the amount of work involved and for the technician to come to my home. The work was completed quite quickly and I am so happy to have my machine out of the living room and in a dedicated exercise space! I highly recommend this company.”

“Update to previous review. While I did have a hard time getting someone on the phone for a sign up issue online. Once I found an email address I got a response within 30 mins. Which was shockingly quick and fabulous. Issues were resolved and everything was taken care of promptly.”

“Largest selection in the area, can serve most serious surf needs. Friendly employees who are very helpful with wetsuits. I really like one of the owners. Also best selection of clothes at a surf shop in the area, but also maybe period. It was initially a very highly curated selection when it was just in the little front space. Now there are way more options which to me leaves it feeling a bit watered down but for most people it's probably nice to have more options. It's cool to be able to walk in and have a high likelihood of being able to score my mom the exact pair or flip flops I have in mind, which wouldn't have been possible if they hadn't filled in the selection with the additional options. Also the restaurant is good. It kind of feels like they've managed to create a scene from nothing in the area, impressive little community they've built.”

“Looking for Pro-club t-shirts and cargo pants? Look no further than this gem of a store! They have an amazing variety of colors and sizes, both short and long sleeves. While their business has been slow, the owner Ji is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Despite their reduced hours, Ji goes above and beyond to accommodate her customers. In fact, she's even given out her phone number and encouraged customers to text her in advance so she can open the store earlier if needed, as she's the only person who works there. Additionally, Ji does custom work in-store, which is a huge bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this store for its great selection and excellent customer service.”

“I had a great experience taking hot pilates with Kelly C! She was awesome. Very friendly, welcoming, the class was really good! Perfect heat! The studio was clean and Kelly was cleaning really thoroughly after class! I met some nice people, which was a bonus! Studio was in a good location with plenty of parking.”

“Dave, Joshua, Jess, & Danny helped me out a lot! I'm bikepacking along the Pacific Coast Trail. Had to get my bicycle maintenanced. Dave & Joshua replaced my casette & chain as well as inspected the bike & filled the tires.
Danny went out of his way to help me get some new clothes & didn't pressure me into buying anything. He made sure I got what I liked & answered all my questions patiently. Really satisfied with this REI staff. I signed up for a lifetime membership to REI as well!”
“Posting this a bit late but needed to give a shout out to Ruby and Deirdra! I started a new job that requires a lot of travel and needed a new travel bag for my computer, notebooks, etc, etc that needs to go everywhere with me. I had an old Lululemon bag that I've been holding onto for years that is FANTASTIC, but had a broken zipper. Had plenty of people say tell Lulu and they'll replace it, but was a no go when it broke. Went Had a couple of items that had issues (broken zipper, tiny holes in weird places) that I had friends and family say tell Lululemon and they'll replace it, but was always a no go, which everyone I told (who shops at Lululemon) were always very surprised about. So on a whim I brought the bag I had with the broken zipper into the Corte Madera store to see if they could just replace the zipper (since they already do alterations) and ended up talking with Ruby. She left to ask someone (since she's a new salesperson, which I didn't know at the time) and she came back with "unfortunately they said we can't". Told her I wasn't surprised and told her about my experiences asking about some of the issues I've had with items over the years (3 or 4 times over the past 15-20 years) and never being able to get any help or replacements for anything. She said hold on, and left to speak with her manager (Deirdra). When she came back she said they couldn't fix or exchange my bag since they no longer had it in stock, but they'd be happy to replace it with a different bag, free of charge. She also said Deirdra said to bring in the other items I had that have issues and that they'd address them. I was kinda floored because I've always gotten a "sorry, we can't help you" response, so I didn't expect anything, but was very touched by them both going out of their way to help me, and they were both so extremely (and genuinely) sweet about everything... They both said they hated to hear I had bad experiences and wanted to fix that! Honestly, just them trying to help was enough, but they both went the extra mile (Ruby being brand new was extra impressive), and I'll be coming back to this location (which is WAY out of my way) because of that! “I worked as a massage therapist next door to Tennis Nation and know the staff well and have even provided them with therapeutic massage. The nicest people ever who carry the most current tennis gear & apparel. Very knowledgeable - they are avid tennis players themselves! They demo the products themselves so are able to provide honest first hand experience of them!”
“Just got GREAT deals-tall Inlet jacket, (dress blue), flurry turtleneck (white)...Illume SPF top (gray heather), got to get summer wardrobe ready...I'm a coffee shopper, cannot resist app shopping while having AN coffee. I am addicted to Athleta!!! They are the best - at 5'11" there are very few options - although I have to order talls online, I can still try most things on in the store & can figure out what I want to order. Athleta carries petites & plus sizes, and has lots of sales (check out the website, or the rack at that back of the store). Athleta just sent me a $50 gift card - I like the perks! I'll try out their online exercise & wellness classes next.”
