The BEST selection/curation of fashionable possibilities in Marin. It's always fun to see what's new and available!

Cute shop with great labels. Unfortunately about 80% of their stuff is S or XS. Also nothing is organized by size so you have to weed through every piece to find a M or L.

I have been visiting this store for about three years and my wardrobe has definitely had a lift! This place has so many beautiful things and a lot of turnover, so there's always something new. All my interactions with the owner and the people working there have been very positive. I also appreciate when they've been honest enough to tell me when something doesn't work on me. In my view, that's good customer service.

I have experienced wrong labels on designer clothing that is not designer. I don't trust this place at all. It used to be good and is currently poorly managed.

Consigned my clothes here recently and had a wonderful experience. This store is incredibly curated. Impossible to walk out empty handed. The gorgeous clothing, super knowledgeable employees, fabulous music and easy going vibe, this has become my weekly retail therapy!

The owner is the worst .. so rude when I come in EVERY SINGLE TIME . I've only been there 3 times ... I had other shopping bags and she tossed it behind the door . I had a shirt in my hands to try on and she asked another person if she could get them a room and hang up their finds but tells ME ..... "oh you need to put your drink down " when my drink is so far away from the clothes and in the opposite hand off shopping and if anything ever happened I would pay for it ....... She never would have said this to a women in her 40s !!!!!!! but because I'm in my early 20s she thinks she can tell me what to do and make me feel uncomfortable. Can't believe I've given this lady my money before . Horrible experience and terrible customer service . Won't be shopping there again I'll be going to Maggie's or some place in Fairfax .

Amazing curation and reasonable prices. There were two empty hangers: in my dressing room and on the rack, which "Dorkis" (Dorcas?) commented on, by which I felt she could be suspecting me of stealing because she noticed I was holding multiple sweaters (which I came in with). They have to pay the consigners half, so I didn't exactly blame her. I kind of appreciated her grit and spunk, which I noticed several times, and the other lady was quite sweet. Some of the styles were runway-worthy, radical, others more upscale-practical, but all in good taste. I usually don't consider buying such expensive brands, but they made it possible. Treasure hunting among fellow shoppers was a bonding experience. Not elitist-uptight Marin, but a genuine criterion passion for clothing.

This place used to be good but is owned now but creepy dishonest sellers. There is mislabeling (fake diamonds labelled real, fake silver labeled real) and dishonest salepeople. Also, they will only take your clothes on consignment if they think you will buy from them with the money you make. They are mean and judgmental to most people who bring in their clothes. At least that is my personal experience and what I witnessed time and again. The former owners over the years had talent and a good eye. The people running it now are just talentless grinds with bad taste and a big need for a quick buck. Run from this nasty place.

"FAKE JEWELRY ALERT"!! Recently a friend of mine bought a pair of earrings that were marked "diamonds and sterling" for 145$. Happy with the nice price, she double checked with the older lady at the counter who said that one of the owners 'was an expert' and 'tested' them, and that she witnessed it with her own eyes. Happy with her purchase, but to double check the authenticity, she took them to Gold Rush Jewelerys in Petaluma, Deleuse Jewelers in Fairfax, and an established antiques dealer at the French Market in Marin. Since she had been shopping and selling at Sax since it's inception it the 1990's, she wanted to be really sure and was hoping the first jeweler was wrong. All three jewelers were licensed gemologists, the two shops had certificates posted in the their stores. "Oh please tell me it's not true-- are they at least silver?" All three said the earrings were not diamonds nor silver but were base metal, costume. My friend, who does not use social media but wanted this story told, wrote a gentle, not angry note about her experience and mailed them in for a return. One of the owners mailed her a check and rather than an apology, rather unkindly, unprofessionally, and with a mean spirit wrote "Thanks for your past business but now we should part ways." How about "so sorry for this mistake! we are so grateful for our business together over the years; sorry to disappoint you! Come back soon! It won't happen again!" Or something similar. My friend rarely goes in there in the first place anymore; maybe twice a year. On the day of the recent purchase the older lady (Dorkis? name? not sure) said "where have you been? it's been so long.." and gave a nice welcome. My friend is surprised at this note with the refund and wants to let people know going forward to check about jewelry, DO NOT TRUST any of the people there or their labels about what is real, fake, etc. The same can be said for certain designer clothing labels which can be cut and sewn on to items where they do not originate. I have seen that myself in that store. I am disappointed to write this but I won't be going back either and I am concerned for their dishonesty and misrepresentation of items in our community. My friend and I both were shocked at the rude reaction of these ingrates. Beware of mismarked, fraudulent items at this store.

I am OBSESSED with this store. I was in the area and had some extra time on my hands. I stumbled on this store and it did not disappoint! The store had great clothes and a wide selection as well. I popped in with zero expectations and came out with two bags full of clothes. Everyone should definitely stop by!!

Very well curated and great prices! Luxury (Louis Vuitton) and cool brands (Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Prabal Gurung), no fast fashion. I found it hard to walk out with just one item, and I’m very choosy about what I buy.
