Walking around this shop is a meditative experience. They have a great selection of Asian statues, crystals, and plants. If you're visiting the SF Bay Area make sure to stop in because this shop is a very special place.

I had driven by Routes Gallery many times and always wondered what it was; today I was waiting for someone shopping next door at United so I decided to check it out. Routes has such a spacious and peaceful outdoor area with an assortment of plants and Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. Step inside and be immersed in more art and culture. There were Tibetan prayer flags, sage, bamboo, crystals, beads, and more. The singing bowls caught my attention. The owner of Routes was at the gallery; he was so friendly and I appreciated that he took time to talk to me and share his knowledge of the different bowls (they had metal and crystal). While I didn't buy anything on this visit to Routes, I enjoyed browsing the gallery and taking in the energy. I'll definitely be back!

Not only does this store have amazing items, but Richard was amazing. The help and guidance and promptness I received from Richard was above and beyond what I expected. Will definitely buy from this store again

This gallery/store is absolutely fabulous and you don't need to be Buddhist to shop there. The plants he is selling are thriving most likely due to the infusion of more than, my guess, 400 Buddhas, gems, And other breathtaking work from Thailand, India And other far east locations. The artwork, the coloring, the facial expressions are all so utterly amazing and Richard the owner is completely fabulous and has a story to tell for every single piece. Just a walk through the gallery is like a mini meditation and his prices are reasonable and the pieces can be placed inside or outside the home and they come in every single size. Are used to shop at his place in San Anselmo which was tiny and charming this is a whole new expanded world

This is a must see. I found my beautiful singing bowl there after searching for many years. And I bought one if the bamboo fountains for my friend’s cat. Beautiful merchandise and helpful owner.

Ommm - Our Buddha fountain keeps us 'sane' ... and is the favorite hangout place for our hummingbirds.......thanks to Richard & Routes Gallery!!!Always find some treasures here - just stopped by and didn't know you closed down the old location - glad to hear that you just moved - have to check-out your new place ...

What a great collection of Hindu art and statues from Bali. We went I'm just to browse around and both my friend and I walked out with garden statues. It looks small when you first walk in but little rooms lead from one to the other and it turns out that there's a lot of stuff. Nice people running it, too.

This review is for Lorraine (and Sita)! We stopped by here to look for a Guan Yin statue after having searched for months. We have a small space, so we wanted something that was just the right size and fit for our altar at home. Lorraine was so sweet and patient with us. She helped us tremendously with finding the right statue! Sita the Cat was also a sweetheart - we're convinced she sat next to our Guan Yin for a reason. ;) We can't wait to drop back in again!

All I can say is WOW!!We are so looking forward to coming back for our third visit to finally buy a Buddha!!!I myself have been collecting small Buddha's for many years!!!Richard the owner is so accommodating and will show his collection.We have been going back and forth to AsiaAnd this little shop has been the ABSOLUTE BEST we've ever seen!!!So as you can imagine, I can't wait to come back and finally put a piece of “Routes†at my home!!!
