We've been customers for 30+ years. The quality and expertise is tops. We trust his advice completely with expensive designer shoes and beloved comfy shoes that he magically adds a few more years of life to. They also sell the best slippers and carry an extensive assortment of styles and sizes. It's so easy to try on many options and leave with new favorites. He's very busy, so wait times are longer for repairs than some other places, but it's worth the wait. Just plan that he may need 6 - 7 weeks. And he's super nice. Ask about his grandkids.

The man that runs the store is very sweet so I feel bad writing this review however I also don't want people to destroy their shoes. I brought in a pair of boots to repair a tiny spot on the leather and omg they are totally destroyed. This picture was after a second attempt to fix. Half of the shoe was painted a totally different color brown. Just put them in the garbage :(.

First rate craftsmanship on the repair of a leather belt, fixing the stitching that had come out. There was sentimental value to this belt since we purchased it on a trip to Italy.

The best authentic old world cobbler with hip comfy new selections often on sale . Currently a 20% off sale. Avo has fixed favorite shoes and boots, cares about his customers feet and has stories to share , if you have a minute! Grateful he's still in biz!

Please think twice before bringing anything especially precious to you here. This is the bag I have used every day for the last 3 years, and it's now unusable after I picked it up from Red Hill Shoe Repair. It was in need of some repair - broken strap, lining coming undone, small holes in the corners. The repairs felt a little pricey ($170) but I thought it was reasonable if it helped me get another 3 years out of the bag.I picked it up today after waiting 3 weeks, and it turns out for some god forsaken reason, Avo decided to literally paint over the pattern that was on the bag. This panel was faded but totally fine, and I didn't instruct him to do anything to it. I was surprised to see he even touched it. Not just touched it - he completely ruined it. It looks like a child painted on my leather. The lines aren't even straight and I would be embarrassed to take this bag anywhere nice. Now I need to order a whole new piece of patterned leather to fix this piece and take it to a different repair shop to clean up the mess that Avo made of it.I was so ready to write a glowing review of this shop; I stayed and talked with Avo for 45 minutes about his childhood in Lebanon when I dropped it off. He did do a good job fixing other parts of the bag. But this is so hideous and glaring, not to mention uncalled for and out of the scope of what I asked for, that I will never ever be back.
