Angela is simply fabulous. Even with how busy she is she made room for my messy labradoodle, Lola. I now won't go to anyone else. She takes meticulous time with each dog, somehow can un-mat even the most tangled coat, and seems to treat each of them with gentle, patient affection. She's the best.

About one month ago, I had a poor experience with this groomer. When I picked up my dog from the groomer, about 4 hours after dropping her off, she was not fully groomed at all (she was not even washed). Angela claimed that my dog had yeasted ears, yet my vet (after visiting because of Angela's comment) said there was no sign of any issue. I voiced my concerns to Angela through text message, and was sent a long-winded response immediately accusing me of dog abuse/neglect. She sent me pictures of my dog claiming to show the yeasted ears and mats--my vet says they did not show what she claims. I do not understand why she only showed me these pictures after I complained. If this was as much of an issue as she claimed, I would have expected her to show me these pictures immediately with her comments. I was also surprised by how much she charged for this service. I wanted a refund for this subpar groom, but she refused. I am not upset about that, but I am upset with how aggressively she responded to my concerns. If Angela's response is to attack anyone who questions her, then I will be happy to find another groomer. I will not being going back, and I will not recommend her to any others.

I called to set up a new client appointment but was told that the earliest appointment available was after Christmas. Rather than letting me go on my merry way without an appointment, they recommended another salon! I really appreciate their help. I was able to get an appointment sooner at the recommended salon. This single phone encounter really made me think highly of Pride & Groom! Seems like an honest business with honest people

Her prices are ridiculously high, as much as $150 for a dog that needed very little. And then she wants only cash( must not be paying taxes) ! She claimed she took two hours to groom my dog who didn't have much hair. That's $75 an hour and she claimed she charges a dollar an hour. WOW. I felt cheated.

Let me tell you about my experience with Angela, who I will always think of as “Angel.” Bridget, my 17 year old labradoodle/Wheaten Terrier mix was attacked by two dogs on an island in the Bahamas. Let me clarify that I don’t blame those dogs. After sailing to another island to find antibiotics, I ran into Angela two days later as I was on my way to the tiny clinic .Angela’s love for dogs was immediately evident when she commented on Bridget’s advanced age and came over to pet her. When I told her why I was there, she insisted on taking a look at the wounds. Even though she was getting ready to go enjoy herself diving, she stayed with us…cleaning her wound, shaving her fur and patiently instructing me on how to cleanse and irrigate the wound efficiently. I can’t tell you how appreciative and grateful I am that she happened to be on that specific beach at that specific moment. Her kindness, gentleness with Bridget and her reassuring manner with me will not be forgotten. These islands are small, resources are limited, with no local veterinarians which made her willingness to help us even more gratifying ! Thank you!Donna ChandlerS/V Soon Reach

Angela is wonderful with our dog Saffi , an Aussie doodle , and has been going to her since he he was a few months old. She does a fabulous job on grooming and cutting his hair. We get many compliments from our friends and other dog owners on his hair cut. Our dog loves going to her and has a blast playing with the other dogs.
