We purchased a bottle of baileys that the checker gave us from behind the counter. Turns out it was 10 years expired. They would not accept our return 10 minutes later because the bottle had been opened and apparently the bottle did not "come from their shop". Do not buy liquor here.

My husband and I walked here 20 minutes before the closing time (according to google) to buy a bottle of wine. The lights were on, the open sign was on, the doors were unlocked, and the owner (or an employee) was behind the counter. My husband walked in and was told by the man behind the counter in a frustrated tone to grab anything he needed ASAP and go because they were “well past closed”. My husband apologized and asked if they had closed and sorry for keeping him, first checking his watch to ensure he had the time right. The owner scolded “don’t look at your watch I can close when I want to”. Then my husband just walked out, and the owner kept scolding him as he left. I was standing outside with our dog and watched the whole thing.

Selection: acceptable Service: weak and unfriendly Store appearance: NOT the cleanest / most inviting environment Prices: NOT transparent (plus ~4% credit card service fee) I stopped in for some (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks. The main positive was that there were no other customers, so there was no line to check out. All other aspects of my experience were quite unpleasant, so I do not want to give them any more of my business.

I've been coming here for the past 3 years and the owner has always been so nice to me but all of the sudden when I walked in yesterday he freaked out and asked me what happened I was buying. I told him and he asked to see my ID (I am 25 years old) and then asked for my passport which I didn't have on me. He then kicked me out. I enjoyed coming to Bolinas Market because of the owner but ill no longer be going.

It's amazing that they have added delivery during covid. Lots of wine, craft beer, spirit collections and a lot more. Stop by and check it out . Friendly staff and super clear store, never runs out of propane tanks.

Please do not buy here. The average price of any liquor is 40% higher. When I questioned him about it, he says, it's a small business, sorry. They are big time cheats. Also, this guy at the counter charged me 5 extra dollars for no reason.

The service here is honestly embarrassing. The one employee - probably the owner is just so rude everytime I'm there! I go because I live close by but he honestly seems like he's having the worst day everyday, if you don't like your job it's bad for business! Anyways I'm 19 went in to buy a scratcher, which the age for that is 18 and this guy was pretty upset upon seeing my id thinking I was trying to get away with something when in reality he really just doesn't understand the rules. Wasn't gonna fight with him so I just left, but wouldn't you think if you were the owner you would at least know the proper age restrictions?

Haven't been there in quite a while until just now, and it seems even more stocked with a greater variety -- for instance, bottled waters, and beverages in general. Convenient location, pleasant proprietor.
