'WHITE GLOVE SERVICE’ at reasonable rates!
My Realtor suggested contacting Birch Circle Movers for an upcoming move into my new home. We called several local movers in San Rafael, before I contacted Alton at Birch Circle.
After sending him a few photos of items to be moved and the logistics he quickly worked up a Quote/Contract and all the paperwork was completed online. We booked a move date for
3 weeks in advance due to the busy June moving season.
On the date arranged the two Movers arrived on time and had all their supplies ready for efficient, expert packing. They were extremely polite, professional and efficient. Every detail was handled with 'white glove' care (zero breakage) !
I was very impressed with the entire team at Birch Circle.
Simply the BEST Home Move I have ever experienced.
A special thanks to the 'move team' for making the new home move-in a delightful day!

The guys from Birch Circle were amazing. Super friendly, so fast, totally willing to go the extra mile whenever we needed something. Everything was moved in flawless condition and the guys all seemed like they were having fun during the packing and the move. Overall a positive experience which was not what I was expecting from a move!

My move from.Larkspur to Vallejo went well. I helped by moving as much as I could from Larkspur to Vallejo during the 2 weeks prior. I broke down the bed and emptied all drawers so all the movers had to do was wrap the furniture and put clothes into wardrobe boxes. They were loaded in 20 minutes. Once their the bed was quickly assembled and places find for my stuff. I paid what was told I would be charged. I recommend Birch Circle Movers highly, they did a great job!

I can not recommend Birch Circle enough. It was our second move with them. This time, our two professional movers, Louis and Oscar, on the first day of pack and prep were unbelievable. They arrived on time and never slowed down. Then the next day the move itself went without a hitch. Everyone was fast, professional and patient when we were confused…Everyone was eager to be of help, not just get the job done. Plus their trucks easily fit into our hilly Marin driveway and yet accommodated a massive amount of stuff. And to top it off, the invoice came in below the bid.
Moving is incredibly difficult and yet Birch Circle helped make it smooth and easy.

We used Birch Circle Movers in August 2023 to relocate from a home on a hill with multiple stairs, tight spaces, and some heavy bulky items. Alton (VP) was very professional and courteous, gave us a (very) competitive quote, and shared lots of free moving bins in advance to help up be as packed and organized as possible. On moving day the crew was prompt, professional and quick. BCM came in on time and under budget. They were clean, professional, courteous, and very hardworking. BCM made an otherwise stressful moving day a breeze. We highly recommend them. A+++!

Wow! They were great. Cheap? No. But well worth the money. For reasons beyond this review, I was in the sorry position to need my stuff moved...twice...in three weeks. What a mess! Alton worked with me to accurately estimate how many people were needed, and how long it would take. We packed it and they moved it. When it became obvious everything needed to be moved again, and quick, Alton got us on the schedule then moved us up when a cancellation opened up a spot a week earlier. That saved us a ton of money and stress. Then they sent out an extra person to fit the tight time window per the HOA at the new destination (yes, I paid extra, but other companies totally underestimated how many people would be needed which would cost more on the day of the move). Then last minute, EBMUD decided to tear up the street in front! Birch Circle's team arrived and said, "No problem." They got the truck as close as they could and got to work moving my excessive book collection up a flight+ of stairs, even making sure one guy was stationed with the truck while unloading because you never know what's going to happen on the streets of Oakland. At the end, the HOA rep tasked with overseeing the move-in even complimented them. Were there stressful moments? Sure, every move has some. But they handled everything professionally, with kindness and humor even when I was a little nuts. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but Birch Circle Movers will be the people I trust when it's time.

We used Birch Circle to move my mom from a 3 bedroom home to a retirement community 1 br. Luis and Jésus did a terrific job. They did some packing of fragile objects and had to take apart and put back together a queen bed. It went very quickly and we were moved in much quicker than expected, with everything intact. They were very patient with my mom about placing the oriental rugs a couple of different times. All in all, a very positive experience. The guys answering the phone were very professional and pleasant too. Pricing was fair and reasonable.

I had a negative experience with Birch Circle when they packed up some of my belongings in May 2023 for a move. I see there are a number of positive reviews, and I'm glad other people had a positive experience but after thinking about it for a few months, decided to share my negative experience.I paid $300/hour for a crew of four to pack. Birch Circle added travel time for all four from San Rafael to Greenbrae (nearly an hour for the brief trip) and charged me for their lunch break time plus a few hundred dollars for use of their van to bring boxes over. To top it out, their crew was interested in some tools I had set aside for my handyman, and I said they could take a few. They took many of them, and that left a bad taste in my mouth because I asked them to take just a few.When I called to speak with the owner after several back and forth emails, he was unfriendly. I read positive things about him in other reviews--maybe he is a great guy and I did not present myself in the best way. Not sure, but I wouldn't hire them again.

We have been using Birch Circle for 10 years now for all of our moving needs. From bringing my grandmothers, China hutch to our home after she died, to moving back-and-forth between rentals and during a home renovation. They have been nothing but wonderful. Something special is that they use these reusable plastic boxes to pack all of your things and so there's not a lot of waste with the cardboard. When you are done unpacking, you simply pile up the plastic boxes and they come back and get them. It's amazing! They are friendly and kind and very responsive. Not to mention the logo on their trucks is really pretty. :-) Not that that matters.

We scheduled them for a 4 hour minimum. After 2.5 hours they started folding their blankets and would charge me for 3 hours and leave. The locations were 5 minutes from each other, in the same town. They refused to make a second trip. Left more than half the items still to be moved. Leaving us in a very stressful situation. Please do not use them.

Birch Circle Movers are the best! They made my move seamless from a 3-story townhouse to a multi-level house in unbelievable speed. From the start, Bob was a great communicator and coordinator. Even when I requested to move up my moving date, they were able to accommodate. They did end up splitting my move into 2 half days but that’s because I changed the date. However, once the team was here, they moved all of my things, quickly, carefully, and professionally. Everything was wrapped and protected - everything made it safely. I highly recommend Birch Circle Movers and will use them as my future go-to movers. They were also very reasonably priced - and they even had bins to lend me for packing. Moving is stressful - these guys took the stress away.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Birch Circle Movers. I interviewed a few companies and they were by far the best choice. Birch Circle Movers worked with us to stay in our budget, they were punctual and the crew was efficient and had great attitudes the whole time. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for great movers!

Excellent service, if you have a complicated move, have a steep driveway, you NEED these movers. We had an extremely complicated move, we have an angled driveway which is hard for a moving truck to go up, we have had so many problems in the past with deliveries etc. My mom and I on moving day were extremely stressed because of the previous experience moving in, and it was completely different. I cannot believe how cheery and polite this crew was, as a woman I really appreciate the feeling of safety when working with a large male crew. They also were laughing instead of swearing (like our last movers) when they had difficult angles. They worked very well together, our last movers were arguing and smoking on our property. I won’t EVER pick another moving company, birch movers is the best in this area.
