“We started bringing our new puppy to Animal Hospital of Salinas and we are very happy with the service. Drs. Chan and Sage are at that sweet spot in their careers where they possess all the current training and knowledge of modern veterinary care, but they also have enough years of practice to appropriately apply their knowledge. They were very gentle with my puppy, listened to my concerns, and offered practical advice. The staff is patient and friendly, and "plugged in" to their clients' needs. Great place! Oh, and there are separate entrances/waiting rooms for cats & dogs, which I am sure is much appreciated by the feline group. :)
UPDATE: Still using Animal Hospital of Salinas after 12 years, and we still highly recommend. :)”

“The entire office is pleasant and easy to work with. I always feel like they truly have our pets' best interest at heart. Many other veterinarian offices are obviously more concerned about the business end of things than the health of the animals. I often feel like the other offices are trying to up-sell you. Dr. Dena Eckerdt will voluntarily tell you that you can buy products and medications from her but it is much cheaper other places. They also are great with my pets, even the very difficult ones.”
“All of the people that work in this establishment are the most caring I have ever met. This includes Dr. Finnegan. They are sensitive to your needs and take the time helping your animal. I had to recently put my pet down and they helped me get thru it. Very gentle to my pet dog. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make and they were very caring. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who has a pet”

I take Tiny to Banfield in Salinas, ca . Dr Murillo is the best Dr. we just love her for our pet. She is awesome with Tiny. When I say her name Tiny ears go up and he wags his tail and goes to the door . She has done wonders for my doggie. She is so caring and loving. She always comes out to talk to us about Tiny care and any treatment if any . She is a very knowledgeable Dr. I will not trade her for the world . I hope she is here for a long time to come. I give her 5 stars. If I could give her more I would. I love her personality as well. I can go on all day about how awesome she is.
