“I had an issue about a month and a half ago where U-Haul corporate basically screwed my reservation, and said that they don't have any trucks within 30 miles of my location (San Jose, CA). I was called the day before my reservation by a young man working at this location to schedule a pick-up (1.5 hours away). I was basically s*** outta luck. I have no car, U-Haul corporate would not pay for the Uber, and I had to move out in a couple days. He also said that if I don't take this reservation, there are three other individuals in line to grab it, and my reservation would be cancelled. We figured out that due to Covid-19, many people were fleeing the Bay Area and doing one-way trips, thus not having stocks of trucks available. Bless this man, he worked tirelessly with me on the phone for a couple hours to evaluate all of my options, and we ended up able to get a truck at a location down the street from my apartment after he made a few calls and did some research. It was a downright miracle and he could have easily left me to burn, but he saved my life that day. I was so frantic the entire morning that I did not write down his name, but if the guy that helped me out sees this, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it happen.”

If you rent a Penske truck ask about AAA Ins discount - 12% off. The young gentleman also suggested that I call their main office in Gilroy to see if they might have additional discounts available to apply. Thank you, Albert & Ricardo. I did call the Gilroy store, spoke to Sarah who was very friendly & helpful. Sarah was able to take a few dollars off for additional days that we may need the truck. Thank you, Sarah.”
