We love Toro Park Animal Hospital! We boarded our 2 pit bulls for a week and the staff gave them a bath before we picked them up. Dr Rockwood is great with our Cane Corso who can be a little timid. She is so patient and kind with him.

Toro Park Animal Hospital was able to see my four-legged family member in a timely manner. Dr. Hofer is an excellent clinician, and provided effective diagnosis, treatment and helpful education. Excellent follow up. Toro Park Animal Hospital provided excellent care and service.

I love this place. Great staff . Today I went for my dogs annual appt I met the Dr Hofer and she 100% loves animals. She’s gentle and has a welcoming demeanor. She’s great .I also wanted to mention the vet assist Auline , she knows how to treat people and most importantly animals . She was very gentle and kind . I consciously said every wrong answer and She was not judgmental. That’s a plus for me. Thank you for a great visit .

They got my sick little chihuahua in last minute for her ear infection so quickly! Amazing doctor and assistant, they were so gentle and sweet to my dog. I loved how professional they were, they explained to me everything so efficiently and made me feel so comfortable with my dog. Would recommend everyone to come here!!!

Dr. Hofer and her staff are keeping me calm and organized while moving two large dogs and one cat to France. They understand all the paperwork, protocols, are highly experienced, and supportive.

We’ve been taking our GSP lab mix here for a couple of years and have always had great experiences.
All of the docs, vet assistants, and front office are great — I believe we had Auline last time but I am not sure — anywho our last visit was excellent as well!!
Easy scheduling, always on time, easy payment, they’re great with our dog Mocha, and friendly people overall.

Luna is our new10 week old mini Bernedoodle who we brought to Toro Park Animal Hospital in search of a vet and a wellness check. From the time we entered the building (through the “dog” specific door?) my wife and I were very impressed with the staff. It’s easy to tell when people like their job by how they interact with patrons and these folks love what they do. The clinic is very clean and accommodating for multiple animals to share space. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and very attentive to our fur baby’s needs. On our wellness check Dr. Hofer Examined Luna and gave very detailed information about how she performs wellness checks and why. She spent a lot of time asking and answering questions Which helped us feel confident, and at ease with her expertise. The staff that performed Luna‘s vaccinations and nail trimming were very impressed with how well she did. We discussed with the staff everything from the types of food to the services they offer, including procedures and preventative medicine and holistic approaches. Dr. Hofer is one of the most knowledgeable veteran’s we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time.. My wife and I are both In the healthcare industry and couldn’t be happier with the decision we made to put Luna‘s care in the hands of the exceptional staff at the Toro Park Animal Hospital.

Toro park is not a hospital. They only take appointments. I called about my cat with a suspect broken leg and they told me to go somewhere else.

My cat was in need of a prompt dental exam and I was so grateful that TPAH was able to see him next day!
It was a positive experience from start to finish: the separate cat/dog entrances are great and everyone in the office (front staff, vet techs, and Dr. Hogans) were all so kind and professional. Dr. Hogans explained things to me as she did the exam and we talked about the dental work that needs to be done. The staff was very thorough when going over the next steps for a pre-op visit, the procedure itself, and billing.
Scheduling was very easy (his pre-op and procedure will be in the next couple weeks) and I feel confident that my sweet boy is in good hands.

Both the Dr and the staff took the time to listen to my concerns regarding my dog and were kind and understanding. They also had no problem with accommodations for a reactive dog who needs some extra help. I'm very pleased to have found this animal hospital for my dog. It makes vet visits much less stressful for both me and my dog.

Great place! This changed our overall experience for going to the vet. The staff was very calm and very gentle. They were very informative and helped me find answers. I knew my sweet girl was in good hands. The location is beautiful and very cat friendly. I love that there are two entrances one for cats and one for dogs. Thank you for helping my sweet little girl!

After trying several vets in Monterey County, we've finally found our go-to destination for top-notch care. We’ve been with them since 2023. Dr. Rockwood is an outstanding veterinarian with a compassionate and professional approach. The staff are warm, welcoming, and highly skilled. Dr. Gabriel is also phenomenal, and the front office team are efficient and friendly. We've never felt more confident in our pets' care.
