As always this venue does not disappointGreat food very attentive service and they are ALL volunteers.Chairs are a little hard and many people come for events so it's loud and a bit tight.

I had one of my best restaurant experiences at The Steinbeck Restaurant. You're greeted with such warmth and kindness. The food was great and you will learn a lot of history about the author of "Grapes of Wrath" John Steinbeck.

Preserved and restored, it offers visitors a glimpse into early 20th-century life through furnished rooms and period decor. The house also features a restaurant serving meals inspired by the era's recipes, allowing guests to dine in a historical setting. Additionally, the site includes a gift shop where visitors can purchase books, souvenirs, and items related to John Steinbeck and his literary works.
