I used Tavares to move and it was the best decision I've made! They were very responsive and able to accommodate a few things I had to change last minute! They were early, all the staff were helpful, nice, communicative, very efficient, and careful with all our belongings. We are extremely happy with their service and would recommend Tavares to everyone! Thank you for making our move smooth and easy.

I booked Tavares about two weeks ago to help with a move I have scheduled this weekend. We spoke on the phone and we text to confirm my move date. We text again yesterday to confirm what I needed moved TOMORROW and everything was fine.I got a text this afternoon, less than 24 hours before my move that they were cancelling. This left me scrambling to find someone else who could help, and of course on such short notice it was more than double the price I thought I would be paying.Do not book this company. I suppose they saved me some grief because if this was the experience before they even touched my belongings I can’t imagine how horribly the actual move would have gone.

Just did a full pack & move of our family of 4 (counting the dog) and we were on a deadline. Booked a few weeks in advance and I am glad I did. Every step of the way, Eddie, Fernando & team are always thinking 3 steps ahead, going above and beyond to make as smooth a process as possible.Change isn't always easy but I'm glad we went for the full service pack & move. We got out of there before the end of the month and deposit on our old rental covered the moving expenses.Definitely satisfied with the services and the price. Thankful to be in a new home as scheduled couldn't have done it with out you. Thank you so much!!!

Booked this company for help moving about two weeks in advance of a move. Less than 24 hours before moving day, the company cancelled, leaving us scrambling to find an alternative, which of course was much more expensive since it was last minute. Would not recommend Tavares Packing & Loading.

I used Tavares Packing & Loading to move some heavy exercise equipment from upstairs to downstairs. My experience was awesome from the minute I called and spoke with Eddie the owner. Very pleasant and easy to work with. The guys called an hour before they said they would be here and said they were on their way. They showed up right on time and were amazing. Some of the equipment needed to be dis-assembled to move down my switch-back stairs. They brought it all down without touching a wall and even re-assembled the equipment and checked to make sure it was working properly. They were super nice, polite and very careful of my house. I would recommend them to anyone. They are AWESOME and were a joy to work with!!! Oh and like Eddie said.... They were handsome.

I couldn't t be happier with a moving company. I grew up a military brat that moved every 2 years. I don't remember ever being impressed with the movers and I had heard horror stories about reckless movers that either lost or damaged many items. The Tavares Guys will not disappoint you! I own a barbershop and needed to move our heavy barber chairs and equipment from our second story location. Our elevator was broken and they had to maneuver around a flight of stairs with our antique chairs. These guys showed up on time, ready to get working. They had us set up in our new location in just a few hours! I know it was hard work but they worked hard and never complained. The opener Manny and his son, Kevin, we hilarious and professional. They made moving our heavy stuff look easy. I could t have been happier. Thanks and if you are looking for a professional and reliable moving company these are your guys!

We contracted with Tavares Packing and Loading to move us from Pebble Beach to Seattle. And we were glad we did. They were professional, efficient and friendly. Most importantly, they are very reliable. Eddie and his crew arrived on time to pack us up, and arrived on time at our new house in Seattle to unload. Eddie and Kevin gave us a great price, they took good care of our stuff, and and they made the whole process as painless as possible. I recommend Tavares Packing and Loading and would definitely hire them again.

I have used this company on multiple occasions and let me say they do live up to their five star rating. Yesterday my daughter was moving from her apartment in North Salinas to a house in East Garrison (Marina). I spoke to Eddie a couple months ago and asked him if this was an open day for him. Fortunately it was. I also asked him if he would show up at my house first, on the south side of Salinas, to pack up furniture we purchased for my daughters' family. He said no problem. They were supposed to be here at 8:30 but they showed up at 8:27 sharp. Eddie and three of his guys swept up the stuff at my house and then proceeded to my daughters house on the northside. She lives in an apartment that has at least 20 concrete stairs going up to the second floor. They arrived, set up, and had the whole two bedroom apartment loaded up before 10 o'clock. Once they arrived at her new place Eddie and his team had their doors open, their arms lifting and their legs walking. Nobody missed a beat. They were done and ready to leave by 1130. The most important thing is that they handled the move in with the same care as they did the move out. They laid down blankets, they covered furniture, televisions and bannisters. Precision and professionalism are their trademark. Eddie has assembled a team of men that not only enjoy working for him but they love him. This truly is a family ran business with an established legacy for the name Tavares that is respected not just in our community but also nation wide. Thanks Eddie, we won't waste our time looking through yelp reviews for anyone else.

Eddie and his crew were AWESOME!! We were loaded and on the road in less than 2 hours! I was a bit last minute, only a week out, but Eddie was wonderful to accommodate me. I moved 3 hours away and into a second floor unit with only stairs, in 90 degree weather. Not once did they complain and I could only wish I could move that quickly up stairs while carrying heavy items lol. It only took them 2 hours to unload and that included a little bit of a breather for a break. Nothing broken, damaged, or missing. It was the best money I've ever spent and would call on them again if I were in their area (still). Thank you Eddie and crew!!!

Eddie Tavares, his son, Fernando, and Bill were wonderful. I was moving from 2400 sq ft to 500 sq ft. I moved my bedroom furniture, couch plus bookcases, kitchen table and LOTS of boxes. They were efficient, careful, full of integrity, reasonably priced, and very personable. I will be recommending them to my Real Estate agent to recommend to her clients.

Eddie Tavares, his son, Fernando, and Bill were wonderful movers. I was moving from 2400 sq ft to 500 sq ft. The moved all my bedroom furniture, sofa, bookcases, kitchen table and chairs, desks, computer desk, filing cabinets, patio furniture and, paintings, and more. They were very careful, considerate, efficient, and reasonable. I highly recommend them and am letting my real estate agent know they represent a very reputable firm. It's family owned and operated, by the way!!

Tavares Packing and Loading were a Godsend to me. I sold my house and was ready to move, but the escrow date kept changing. I would call Eddie , the owner, and explain what was happening and he told me each time to not worry and when I was ready he would make it happen. And he did!! Eddie, Kevin and Fernando showed up right on time on the day of my move. He held it on his truck for me for a day and was right on time on delivery day. These guys are careful and fast. To tell you the truth they were fun to be around. Pricing was VERY fair. I can't give Eddie and the guys enough kudos. They did a great job! I'd use Tavares Packing and Loading again in a heart beat. GOOD PEOPLE WORK THERE!!
