Great place to shop, whether you are a Filipino, or someone who is just trying something new/ Asian, this is the place to go.. Hint during the Holiday season, they order A few Roast Pigs, so you can order a few pounds, I never had a Hawaiian Roast Pig, so if it is as great as the ones that Filipino's have, it is will be great..the rest of the year, place to go if you have the craving, for something Filipino..

I just went to buy ice cream and was charged $15. What a total scam. On the receipt it doesn't say ice cream just the total. I will never return and tell everyone I know not to go there either.

Wide variety of asian products. Place is a bit small but well-stocked.

Always find a great selection of canned, packaged and frozen foods from all of Asia. They also have fresh fish (and some other varieties of seafood)on Thursdays and stock a decent selection of fruits and vegetables.

Good: one of few Filipino stores in Salinas. If you need something quick, 1 item or so and don't mind paying a little bit more because you have no choice.Bad: there's no prices on most, if any, all of the items. How bad is it to add a sticker price on the can goods? The fridge items? Bag of chips? EtcUgly: because there's no prices, lady in the register will just throw up any prices she feels like at that moment. I mean come on, does the lady KNOW how much EACH SINGLE item is worth in the whole store? If so, she's really good lol But honestly, a lot of the stores has prices on whatever they're selling; just weird that this store don't Buy 1 of the same item at different times of the week; you'll get different prices each time.I've gone to this place just a handful of times only because it was more convenient for me. But each time, I feel cheated because there's no prices. It's like getting into a taxi and the taxi driver is taking the long way to your destination.

Buyer beware. They charged us for 1 item that we didn't buy. The first time we went there, they didn't itemize what we bought. I suspected we were overcharged. So the second time we came to buy groceries, I asked the cashier to itemize the receipt. It could be an honest mistake on their part but we were still trustful and didn't wanna embarrass them by counting the items we bought in front of them. When we got home, we found 1 item charged for a product that is labeled grocery. We tried to figure out the items we bought which one is which because the item description in the receipt only either says grocery or meat. All the other comments here are all true. We were happy to see them carry some hard to find items that's why we came back. But we also found expired goods here. Fast moving items were relatively new. Slow moving items were more or less old or expired. We are very trusting people. When we see dishonest businesses, we just don't go back. You may find it out yourself or just don't get fooled at all.

It is notorious for having spoiled food. Double check before buying. Stay safe out there.

Good store. Not like a regular American Grocery store but excellent. They sale some products from the Philippines and Asia that are not sold in any other place in Salinas. Wide selection of vegetables and fish. The employees are kind. The owners I think are Indian. Should at least try going here. Just a reminder the fruits are just outside the front door.
