Had my truck in for transmission replacement on the new 10R140 transmission which isn't as good as the 6R140 it replaced. But service at this dealership was top notch. The truck was quoted as taking about two weeks to finish but they had it ready for pickup in about five days. My service advisor was Sandy and she was very professional and had the greatest customer service I've had in a while.

Get service department promises in writing Before leaving your vehicle. Double check that they actually have the oil on hand before you let them do an oil change.

Stopped by the non-service department today. Was going to ask for assistance understanding how to reset the pressure sensor option on my F250 Super Duty.I asked the service manager as he was standing next to me. " Can I have 30 seconds of time from one of your tech's?. "Right away, I heard the words.. "I Can't" pull one of my techs.I was aware of where this conversation was going to go all ready.....Long story short, he left my side and then came back into my vehicle as if he knew what was happening. His first comment was..." DID YOU YOUTUBE IT?"I drove up with the new sensor installed and the tool to reset it (TMPS RELEARN TOOL).i just needed some assistance. Just show me or let me know what I'm doing wrong. At the end of the day. he did not know what he was looking at and said he asked the tech how to do it. No surprise, he stated. (" I've never seen one of these before."). He offered(???) To make me an appointment for the next morning and have them take a look at it. "Oh, that will be $120.00."I stated.. "I did not spend all the money on this truck for them to charge me $120.00 on some help.I spent another 30 min in the parking lot attempting to understand and kept challenging myself to understand . no luck.ONCE YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, THIS IS THE WAY YOU ARE TREATED.One thing/comment you never want to hear from someone who is being PAID to ASSIST/HELP customers. I CAN'T." In my mind, I only hear "I WON'T. "I am saddened to what times "work ethic" we have come to.Has anyone run across a similar experience resembling this hear?My first job at 14 years after school was at a gas station.My first interaction started with "Yes Sir, Yes Mam."Going above and beyond in the hope of someone walking away thinking that they had a good experience with me.Have a blessed day!Dan

Unlike others here, I've had good service from this dealership. The service department has always been very responsive and attuned to my needs. I prefer this dealership to others on the Monterey Peninsula. They are familiar with Ford EVs and know how to service them. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my cars here for service. Keep up the good work!

I had a great experience with Salinas Valley Ford. Iris helped us understand every part of our new vehicle with so much patience. The young lady who helped us in finance was great also. It was a fast process but very well explained. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to Salinas Valley Ford.

One year ago at Salinas Valley Ford, I ordered a 2023 ford Maverick, once it arrived , they at First denied there was an Official Ford Price Protection program. Despite showing them documentation and internet video's of how other dealers are informing them how it is done. After two days, they acknowledge there is such a program suddenly they know about it. even though it has been around for almost a year) Then, Bob the salesman is instructed to repeat from his boss a lie that Ford Will mail me a check ($480). They say this so I will go away. Ford does not mail people checks. Officially with price protection the dealer gets reimbursed 30-45 days later. the customer get the discount immediately. If you call Ford Customer service, they will tell you they don't send checks to customers for price protection. I waited a year for it , so I paid the price increase. At Salinas Valley Ford the Sales people are obviously instructed to lie. I also ordered another maverick from another dealer, Greenwood Ford in Hollister Calif, the same day, same model, delivered the same day. They gave me price protection immediately, I didn't have to ask for it. Danny G

The service department is first-rate and they know Ford EVs. They washed my car and charged it up. They could use a Level 3 fast charger, but otherwise their service was terrific. I'll happily take my other Fords there, including my EVs.

Went in a couple weeks ago to have an inspection for my F-250. The service representative was very helpful and did not push any extra services that I did not need or ask for. They inspected my vehicle rotated my tires and change my oil for a reasonable price.

Bought a Lincoln a couple years ago there, it turns out is no longer a Lincoln and went to drop off my car for service and in the past and as part of buying a Lincoln they are supposed to give you a loaner car while yours get serviced. Basically because they are not longer a Lincoln they said they didn't have to give me a loaner and there was none available any way. After a short conversation and me expressing my disappointment they said they could take my name and give a call when a loaner becomes available. They have never call me and seriously doubt they put my name on any waiting list. The ladies at the service department were not trying to help at all and you can tell they are unhappy just by looking at their sour faces. Will not be coming back to service my car and looking at returning it when lease is over.

This was THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. Avoid this location. I ordered some crossbars to be installed on my car. Apparently, Ford sent them the wrong part (ok not their fault). But I live 45 minutes away, so you would think they would have checked the part before telling me to come for my appointment. So the first trip is wasted. They contacted me a couple of days later telling me all was set, they ordered the right part and it was there. I asked the lady to triple-confirm that it was the right part and she says she did. I show up and wait for over an hour for them to pull my car up WITHOUT the crossbars installed. At this point I am fuming because if the part was wrong (AGAIN) I shouldn't have been waiting there for over an hour, I was also the one who had to ask for an ETA. The whole thing was a complete mess. They tell me they will reorder the right part and send it to my house. Calling this location is A NIGHTMARE! They rarely answered their phones or called back if you left a voicemail. So I finally get the parts guy and he tells me they can't reorder the part. I then find out that the reason the second time the part didn't work was because they tried to pull a completely random crossbar kit from their warehouse to fit on my car instead of reordering what I originally ordered. (So they completely lied about reordering the right part). And they are just like oh I never looked at what you ordered. WHAT?!?!? I just can't understand. So they then tell Ford that my order was fulfilled (which it wasn't). And now I'm in a nightmare situation where it's a month or more later, I had to create a case with Ford which was flagged for high-level issues/priority and I finally got my refund, and still no crossbars. Literally, go anywhere else but here. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Honestly, I would never let this location fix my car if something was actually wrong after this experience.

Benny from their Parts department was amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a bed liner for my F-150 and it was delivered without the hardware screws. Benny was super helpful and constantly gave me updates on when it would arrive. Would definitely recommend working with him if you need Ford parts.
