Very rude employees & don’t know how to communicate. The manager when I spoke with her on the phone was very rude. I was upset because they were talking about killing my dog if we don’t come up with the money to get him out. Also the communication we experienced with the staff was terrible. Nobody was on the same page about anything and was telling us different things. The manager then told my husband (when he went in person to try and get our dog out) to hang up the phone on me which made me even more furious because who are YOU to tell anyone to hang up their phones let alone when they are showing signs of being overwhelmed & frustrated when saying you’re going to KILL my dog if we don’t come up with the money!! They don’t care about the animals just YOUR MONEY

The times I had to deal with the Mc shelters has been bad, they're more interested in the money than the animals.

Rude employees they were no help, if you’re gonna be working at an animal shelter at least have a nicer attitude.

I wanted to tell Petra who works at the Salinas Aminal Shelter. Thank you for taking the time to explain Kobie s condition to me. And also gave me a cage to transport Kobie back home. I have four dogs They're all spade and neutered and have their shots and License but I will never get another animal after they're gone dealing with animal control Many of my neighbors have dogs they don't give them veterinary care or license but there not getting Harassed by animal control

It's nice how clean the shelter is. The animals are in good hands. I adopted my kitty Bam Bam from here a couple weeks ago I really love him with all my heart he is the sweetest.

I adopted my beautiful cat here , it came with a box , some toys and a blanket , they even told me what her favorite toy was.Very amazing place doing good things for animals that need it . Great people .Thank you !

I keep calling asking for help for sick or neglected cats that need assistance and they are never of much help . Instead they tell me to call someone else to deal with the problem .

I adopted my sweet boy pepper back in April 2018 and he was everything to me my love and on June 10 2021 a heartless person ran my 7ib baby over he is gone and my heart is broken but now im going to give another shelter dog a forever home thank you pepper you will forever be in our hearts

It is really nice how clean the shelter is. All of the animals are loved and taken care of as much as family as can be.
