AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs...or it will cost you! They do not honor their deals. They do not show up anywhere on time. They will rip you off! I would give them negative stars if I could.It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I was traveling from SF to LA. My motorcycle broke down and I was stranded in a small farming town, so I called AAA. Turns out no mechanics were open for the next two days and no Uhaul-type companies were open the the next day either, so I decided to bite the bullet and tow it back to LA so I could get home for work. The dispatcher called me directly to ask for some extra information and I asked for the cost of my tow since I had to go past the AAA distance. The price I got wasn't cheap ($1065), but it was manageable and the dispatcher said the truck would be there by 6:30pm and it was now 2pm. The truck didn't show up until 11pm! I was stuck in the dark in a sketchy farming town that completely shut down at 10pm. Then on top of that, they DOUBLED THE PRICE when they already had my bike on the truck! I had confirmed the price/deal I had made in good faith at least 3 times because I had to be sure I could cover it. The dispatcher I was talking to was now off duty and the dispatcher on duty refused to honor the original quote. AAA was also useless and said that their hands were tied because the company can charge what they want past the AAA coverage and since the quote was never on a recorded phone call they couldn't contest the price. At this time of night, I would have had to wait all night for another truck and the hotels nearby were closed and I had no idea how I would have gotten to one in the first place. So I was stuck. Force to pay this dishonorable company.I have opened a fraud claim with AAA as well in hopes to get their approval pulled.I understand paying for distance and I would have even tipped the driver heavy being a holiday weekend. The CA average is $4-$7 per mile...They ended up charging me $13. I would have spent the night and tried to find other options the next day if I had known. To be filterless as well, this shameless act of robbery has cost me the ability to see my family this Christmas....THAT is what kind of company this is.They should be ashamed and AAA should be ashamed for putting me in contact with a company that is allowed to operate like this.

When you need a tow, there's trouble. We were so thankful P &R Towing was sent out to rescue us off 101S. We were stranded and stressed! Robert arrived quickly and had our vehicle on the flatbed in minutes. He made a quick call and delivered us to Felipe Automotive-truly saving the day. P&R Towing is professional and so good at what they do! Robert got into the business because he grew up with his dad working at P&R Towing and you can tell this company cares about helping folks out when they need it. Thanks again Robert and P&R for serving the Salinas Valley so faithfully.

You have the best employee working for you as a driver!! We called for a tow twice and both times Carlos came to assist us. He was helpful, kind and ver professional. He is truly an asset to your business!! I would recommend P& R towing and hopefully when they arrive you get Carlos to help you!! He was so helpful, he went out of his way to make sure we were ok and in a safe environment before he left!! I would high recommend ZP& R towing, just because my interacting with your driver Carlos. Truly an asset to your business, I eould Highly Recommend!!!!

The dispatcher (sorry i did'nt get you name), and then Bill, who arrived to tow my car, were both very friendly and helpful. Bill not only got my car started, but gave me a clue as to what was wrong and made sure i made it safely to the mechanic. I will definitely call PNR again and refer everyone that i can. Thank you!

Poor customer service, rude drivers, and they fail to leave the vehicles in the location requested, instead leaving on the road with oncoming traffic.

Thank you so much for your service. Driver was understanding and so helpful getting my van towed out of town. Other AAA tow company's wouldn't take my call last night and left my disabled wife stranded. If you are using your AAA membership for a tow in the area don't even bother with Salinas Garage they are straight garbage... make sure you request P & R or Pete's towing they'll take care of you.

I was super impressed when the need to have my vehicle moved without me in it landed me in the cab of P&R Towing! My apologies for potentially misstating my drivers name but I believe it was George. First I had contacted AAA almost 3 hours before he arrived. I know 5 stars? But P&R actually showed up to correct a situation another tow company had left me in. My vehicle and I were in Monterey and we needed to get back to Salinas. When he arrived he had my vehicle loaded on the flatbed and me strapped in up front in less than 10 minutes! The entire time George was more than polite, professional and even entertaining. I wouldn't stutter or hesitate if I ever need assistance in the future! P & R Towing you set the bar for outstanding service in an industry that often misses the mark entirely. You're customers must love you!

Worst tow EVER! They messed up my tired I called the manager Mary.To see if she was professional enough to help! However she kept telling me that she was ganna call back but never did. Save your time and money.

My brand new car broke down unexpectedly out in the middle of nowhere and I was stuck with my little baby. When I contacted roadside assistance, they quoted me a 90 minute arrival time for a tow truck. When I called P & R towing and told them my situation and advised them that I was stuck in the middle of nowhere with my 6 month old baby, they were on scene within 30 minutes. Big kudos to this towing company that came to my rescue in record time! The dispatch and driver did everything possible to make this a simple and quick endeavor and get me and my child to safety.
