Holly is a wonderful trainer and helped us train our rescue dog. It turns out that under our dog’s hyper, energetic exterior is an extremely trainable and eager-to-please pup! We wouldn’t have recognized that and known what to do with it if it weren’t for Holly. We initially started seeing Holly because my doctor recommended I look into training my dog as a service dog. My doctor recommended Holly as a reputable trainer, as she’s heard positive feedback about Holly from other patients.I reached out to Holly, we discussed goals, then did virtual training sessions over FaceTime over the course of a few months. From the very first session, Holly’s guidance was leading us to great results. Our dog used to pull like crazy for entire walks, but now she’s much more polite. It has made walking her much more enjoyable, and now we bring her way more places. What sets Holly apart is that she doesn’t just resort to one strategy to train a dog - she pivots to new ideas if the initial approach doesn’t work. For example, when training my dog to not jump at other dogs on walks, Holly had the creative idea to sit 25 yards from a PetSmart entrance and practice “leave it” so my dog could practice disengaging with other dogs from afar.In regards to service dog training, Holly has an empathetic and motivated approach to ensuring both dog and handler work well together. I felt very comfortable communicating with her about everything.

Wonderful dog trainer and dog sitter. Holly treats our dogs like they are one of her own. She genuinely cares for every dog she trains and boards. Otis is always thrilled whenever he gets to stay with Holly! We are so grateful to have Holly in our pack! Thank you, thank you!!

I was recommended to Holly by a good friend of mine. My 6 month old terrier, poodle, pug, something had completed basic obedience and I wanted to see if he is a good fit for a therapy dog. Holly came to my house, assessed him, and created a plan for him. We worked on off, leave it, stand, mat and up. She also helped with housebreaking . What I appreciate about her most is that her methods are gentle and she understands what will motivate my dog. We did some work in the house and outside, and then moved to PetSmart to challenge him to ignore all the good food smells ( have I mentioned that my dog is very food motivated?) and things on the floor. We walked him near moving carts and other pets and people..... I am very pleased with the progress my dog has made and will be signing up for more training with Holly. I recommend her highly!!

Very dishonest. I didn't miss any appointments. I was even out there in the rain and holly said to reschedule. She let my dog jump on an elderly lady nearly knocking her down. Then Holly wanted me to take my dog to the dog park. The dog park is for play not train. She was hired to train my dog to not run away. The entire time was spent with her dog running around with mine. Holly owes me $100 and refuses to pay me. Either train the dog or give me a refund.
