Can’t get any help and when someone finally acknowledges you, they’ve got attitude. And that was from “customer service”! In all fairness, there was one gentleman that was empathetic and helpful.

This review is regarding their return policy. I spent at least $50k at home depot last year. Along the way they stopped allowing me to return home depot items without my receipt. It is incredibly hard to keep track of receipts when you're in the middle of remodeling a home. Anyways now I get denied on returning simple items like a bag of concrete, zip ties - literally everything is a pain. To make matters more insulting I bought $1000 with of fence panels. When I got to the store to pick them up home depot failed to release the items to me in their system. I could of easily just cancelled my order and screwed them, but I called the store and notified them that they had not officially claimed the money for the items they had already given me. Anyways I really do like all the employees and this issue is really more of a poor corporate decision. So now since it's a complete headache to return items to home depot, I will very easily take my business to Lowes. Should Home Depot change my status from suspicious customer to great customer then I'll happily return to their stores and change my review to 5 stars (which the employees deserve) Good chance they will never respond to this. Suprise me!

Home Depot, Salinas is the worse place to shop. The store is poorly run, poorly organized and unsanitary. The CDC should pay them a visit. Employees have no knowledge of the stores products. There is so much derbies and unattended equipment left in the aisles it is impossible to social distant. They are not courteous an make no effort to help the customers. The check out is automated, you must lift the gun, it is not contactless and there is no attempt to clean between customers. I left my items and went to Lowe's. They have a clean store and care about their customers.

Linda Gtz * 4 days ago Poorly lit Home Depot Parking. I had an incident today when I went to Home Depot around 7:30pm to return an item. I have noticed the past couple times I have gone after sundown, how dim and poorly lit their parking lot is. Well tonight, I parked rather close to the entrance, but as I was getting out of the car I noticed the car next to me (backed in) and a small divider between us there was a guy in the car, just staring at me. I made direct eye contact so he was aware I saw him. As I was taking out my item from the trunk, I noticed him get out of the car, he fumbled and dropped something on the floor. Luckily at the same time a truck began to back out and an employee was walking toward our direction, I quickly locked the door and went into the store. Since I was at Returns, I was able to see the entrance and noticed the guy never came into the store. I notified an employee and he assured me they would check and be aware. After I was done with my return, I made sure to leave when there was plenty of other people leaving too. When I got to my car I noticed the man's car was still there, the driver seat was empty. I am a very cautious person, I ensure my surroundings before getting in and out of the car. I make sure never to be distracted and to make eye contact with anyone I sense might be observing my suspiciously. Perhaps it was nothing, perhaps he was meeting someone there. Or maybe went in through the middle doors. But I have noticed Lowe's is much better lit at night than Home Depot. I wonder if they got enough requests they'd get better lighting in their parking lot? I don't want to disclose the type of car it was because the guy didn't actually do anything but stare at me and get out of his car. Maybe I was on edge but it made me feel very uncomfortable. Next time (I hope there's no next time) ask a store employee or manager to accompany you to your car. This way they experience how unsafe it can be in a poorly lit parking lot. 3 days ago Alex Li Alex Li * Pariaso Estates/Gabilan Views/Stratford Just gonna say one thing, most of the rank-and-file of the staff at those stores will have a little to no power on changing the lighting at the store. Paul Tomaselli * Harden Ranch I hadn't read this yet, but on 12/12/20 I complained at the Home Depot about the poor lighting in their parking lot (bulbs urned out, not very bright in the first place). Several months ago, again at Home Depot, I saw someone snooping around cars that were not his. I went in and complained. Two employees came out with me and we found the guy near but out of his truck that was backed-in and parked by the sheds away from the building far from where most cars are parked. He looked like he intended to be there for awhile. Turned out that the car I saw the guy snoopin

Literally the worst Home Depot I've ever had to the displeasure of interacting with. Need to talk to someone in the store? Good luck! Since it takes a whopping 30-45 mins just for them to PICK UP. Then being transferred is another rollercoaster and no one picks up there so you have to call the main line AGAIN and wait ANOTHER 30 minutes. Talked to the store manager Chris who did not refund me my delivery fees and wasn't a fan of me dropping an f* bomb but literally making me wait a month and 6 hours just to connect with someone I think is warranted. Complete and utter MESS of a store. Just save the stress and go somewhere else

The Home Depot offers a wide variety of items. In fact, you could spend hours in the store looking for what you need. You could also spend a lot of time in the store looking for someone to help you. It looks festive in here today. Christmas trees galore and a lot of beautiful Christmas decor!

Props to (Lisa in electrical) for helping me find refrigerator light bulbs in 5 seconds and directing me to the exact aisle to the duct tape. I was in and out in 5 minutes.

On July 3rd I rented a stump grinder from Home Depot on N Davis Rd in Salinas. Andy, who works in the tool rental section, was awesome. He made sure the unit was in good working order, took his time showing me how to use it, and helped me load it. He is a top-notch employee! I did not get the name of the female that was working with him that day, but she was also friendly and helpful.

Mark in the kitchen design center needs to brush up on his customer service skills. You do not interrupt a contractor or his client. Yes, you need to work on your wording. We have been loyal customers of Home Depot for over a decade and three homes. The current project it putting us well over 50k. Richard (the manager) we'll be complaining in person.

Terrible customer service, nobody ever seems interested in helping. During our current pandemic, many employees are wearing their masks over mouth only, and one girl had hers hanging around her chin. When I mentioned it to her I got major attitude, like 'whatever'and she actually started to ignore us completely. They're young kids I get it, but where are the managers!!!

Had to make a trip to Home Depot to get supplies to make a paved walkway for my elderly mother. I had heard the lines were long and I'd be there for hours. Not so. The line to get WAS long, but I walked in about 7-10 minutes later; def worth the wait. I headed to garden and asked a young man for assistance. He said he'd call, but he must not have. I, on the other hand, saw Alan on a forklift, directed by Leo. I asked them for help. They gave me immediate assistance. They had two loads before me but took the time to write down my skews so I could pay and show them my receipt. They had to other deliveries before they brought mine to my car. Alan, Leo, Edgar and Gustavo loaded my car, making sure to not make it to heavy and damage my car. We couldn't get it all in and they assured me they would take care of me when I came back. I didn't make it back yesterday, so I called. No problem. Today I went and Leo finished the job. He was the first person I saw when I went in and he took care of me immediately. Day 1 took about 35-40 min, today took about 15. I thought that was pretty great. Kudos to these great guys! Whoever their manager is should take note. These kids are hard workers, take initiative, are friendly, engaging and represent your company well. Also a shout out to Bob, in a completely other dept, who is TOTALLY helping me with my mom's project. I for sure would not have been able to do it without him. Home Depot...you are rockin the great employees!!
