Clean $149.00 night breakfast included close to freeway fast food gas Anywhere else will cost you over $200 a night. Nothing fancy just a clean safe place to sleep shower and get back on the road.

Never come here. House keeping was so inappropriate that she opened the room even if there was a do not disturb sign. Now the front desk has denied for me to see the cctv footage to verify the

I stayed one night while in the area on business. The hotel is in a safe area. The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. My first room smelled like there was rotting food left in a trash can somewhere. So, I was offered a different room. This room was much better. There was either missing bar soap or this hotel no longer offers it. The television kept freezing on nearly all channels. The font desk said they thought it was a satellite issue from a wind storm several days ago. So, it was ok, but I won’t stay there again.

Been to many, many Holiday Inn Express locations. This is one of the best locations. Although I am not a fan of the city Salinas itself, I spent several nights here and this facility was truly a consistent clean, well maintained hotel. Roomservice was superb and all my needs were fulfilled. Highly recommended!Rooms: Very clean!!Noteworthy details: Always friendly employees and front desk service!

Hotel is safe and secure. Staff is knowledgeable and kind, I'm so glad that there's a Holiday Inn in Salinas.

My stay there is generally okay. Just wish they would serve breakfast at 6 AM. Like every other holiday inn express contractors generally have to be up pretty early and would like a warm meal before they start. Work was one of the main reasons. I choose holiday inn express for my work trips.

HORRIBLE…..HORRIBLE….HORRIBLE ! Got to the hotel saw my sheets had multiple stains , mysterious stains , etc . I asked the front lady to change my room . And She said “ no “ . So I had to sleep with DIRTY sheets on a DIRTY bed . I WOULDN'T GIVE THIS PLACE MY MONEY EVERY AGAIN !!!!! The neighborhood is very bad as long as the customer service . The WORST hotel encounter I’ve had . After leaving the hotel I got charged additional fees of $150 + . Never stay here please .

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, with 24/7 coffee ☕ and tea ? available, and the polite receptionist provided helpful directions. Conveniently surrounded by famous fast-food restaurants, you won't worry about food. The hotel is clean and renovated, but unfortunately, the pool was unavailable during our stay. Still, it's a great choice for a pleasant stay!

Beautiful, clean, and quiet. My hotel of choice when I'm staying in Salinas. No busy foot traffic as well as cars. It's surprisingly quiet even though it's off the 101 off ramp. There's a pool in the back of the hotel in its own building. At the time of my stay, the gym was still being built. I like the little store they have inside the hotel in the lobby. You can pick up snack food and bottles of water, juice, bottle teas, and soda.Rooms: Rooms are a nice size and clean. They upgrade my room to a King Suite. It added a couch.Safety: There's a security officer on the grounds. During my visit, I only saw him patrolling the parking lot. Their parking is well lit.Food & drinks: Walking distance from McDonald's and In & Out.

Ms Mari and Ms Stephany were more than helpful right from the checkin to the checkout. Every thing in the hotel was to its best. Our best stay in the entire west coast travel. Thankyou for making it a memorable stay.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I travel a lot for work and stay in a ton of hotels and cleanliness is always my number 1 priority. All rooms are completely renovated, modern, spacious, and really clean!Free parking. Not a very walkable neighborhood but there is an in n out and a McDonald's down the street.Free hot breakfast in the morning. Coffee was good, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, cereals, pancake machine, fruit. The only reason for knocking off 1 star is because the pool and gym are closed "indefinitely" for renovations and it wasn't disclosed when I booked.I think it's safe to say that this is one of the nicest/cleanest hotels Salinas has to offer.

We're very unhappy with the way that our hotel cancellation was handled. We called three full business days before our designated arrival date to cancel our room for Mother's Day weekend, due to a sick family member not being able to visit. The hotel staff made this process extremely difficult for us. I spent my career working in customer service, therefore, I'm aware of the workload etc on staff and I make it a point to communicate positively and in a friendly manner. I am an easy customer to deal with. I had to call four times and I was transferred back and forth between reservations and the front desk as well. They not only took a full week to reimburse us but they DOUBLE charged our room. I had booked a room for one night and my credit card was charged for two nights with a total of over 600.00 on my card. They were indifferent, inefficient, and to top of off rude. I don't recommend this hotel. Beware.

BAD experience. Traveling with 2 children. During phone reservation, was assured of adjoining room. Rooms were next door, NOT adjoining. Was not advised that pool is closed. Was not advised that work-out room is closed.TV would not change channels. Called front desk. Was advised to unplug data cables from back of TV to "reset" it. I declined and asked for maintenance person. They said there's no maintenance on-site and "there's nothing we can do, we're not maintenance."I replied "Neither am I." Spent the whole weekend watching mixing matches. Miserable experience.

This property is not a good choice. They are looking out to charge additional fees for anything and everything. $15 for a missing wash cloth, $100 for taking the luggage cart into the room (because it might mark the door jam), and on and on. Front desk is not well organized and makes guests wait for up to an hour to secure a reserved room. There are better places to spend a night and your money. Steer clear of this one.

If you need extra pillows and are not in a suite, don't even ask. Went down to the front desk to get two extra pillows and we were told "no" and that we are not in a suite. So had to find a store nearby that sold pillows. If I had known in advance I would have brought extras. Just seems petty not to provide a couple extra pillows.Other than that the room was comfortable and clean.Complimentary breakfast was decent.Pool and other features were closed. The place was recently remodeled and not done yet 100% it seems.Service behind the counter was to the point, not much in regard to welcoming guests andservice. They put a hold on our credit card for $100 which is fine. My husband wanted to pay cash for everything when we checked out and the woman behind the counter said it would only be a hold. It was not just a hold, the card was charged after all.Not the greatest experience overall.
