I can always find a fantastic gift for someone I love. From scarves to books or pottery. Local gifts for those discerning friends and family that I like to treat with something unique can be found here. The ladies are so fun, willing to gift wrap and offer helpful suggestions. Certainly worth coming back for a look as their selections change with the season and availability. Also, they have a great selection of greeting cards. Wonderful!

Nice shop with some unique gifts. However, my children and I were made to feel most unwelcome on our most recent visit when my son was told off by a staff member for touching a toy. There was no sign to indicate this was an issue and we’d brought toys from there many times in the past without issue and prior the staff were very friendly. Needless to say we left the store and will be reluctant to return. Shame.

This shop is the best! The buyer and owner has a sharp eye for quality. The shop has something for everybody and every occasion. What is so fantastic is the items are unique and there are so many to choose from for every pocket book. There is not a shop like this one in all of the city of Salinas. It is a one of a kind shoppers paradise. Take it from a true shopper, this is heaven for a one stop shop for all your shopping gift needs that will thrill the recipient.

Small gift shop with almost too wide of a selection.This little gift shop manages to squeeze a massive amount of stuff into its small space. You can find candles to tote bags to honey here. Service was amazing. I was greeted when I entered and the postcards I bought were placed into a bag with care. It's really packed with stuff. I will say that the items here are overpriced, but that's to be expected from a gift shop.

There are a lot of items in this store, we got lost in it for a while just looking at all the selection they had of everything. And I mean everything, stuff for women, men, kids, babies, weddings, birthdays, ect....We found some items for gifts to our friends and family and the staff was really nice. She gave us some little candies as a thank you for stopping in, she was really funny, and little corky, made us laugh. I would come again if we ever needed a nice fun gift for someone again.

Walking into Gifts on the Go instantly makes you wish you never bothered setting foot in there. The staff that assist customers, leave you feeling horrible. Constantly harassing you with questions, and showing obvious signs that they are assuming people are up to no good. It is so unfortunate, because this store offers great items. But it kills me to go into this store knowing that I am going to be experiencing awful treatment!!!! Emphasis on the awful part! Donna really needs to change her ways and I suggest she attends a customer service conference!! Please know that I am not making this up or being dramatic. The feelings I've experienced after shopping here are inexcusable. Lastly, writing this review itself is triggering and Gifts on the Go is not a place I'll recommend.

As an upstanding citizen of Salinas valley and a proud Latina woman, I take pride in my community. I love doing my part to serve, as well as support the small businesses of this town. I am always excited to see small businesses thrive and I was so happy to feel like I could make a recent purchase for a friend at a small business. I am so upset with how I was treated by the staff at this establishment. I felt like I could not shop comfortably and I was constantly being followed by a both ladies in the shop. They made it a point to move items near me and watched over my back. And for this reason I will never come back! Please if you're of color stand in solidarity and DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Love!! Love!! This store!! If your looking for something unique and the best service in town this is it!! I wished I had photos I just get so amazed of the selection of unique items I forget to take a photo!! Trust me you can't go wrong here!!
