CAUTION!Called to see about an oil pressure check for my 08 Audi. I have a good friend who was a Master tech for 27 years who gives me advice - and I'm pretty handy, but not a full mechanic. They quoted me $240 to do an oil pressure check. The dealership (Audi of the Monterey Peninsula) will do an entire engine diagnostic with factory trained master techs for . . . That exact same price - $240.Read a lot of reviews and the 5 stars are all simple "good service, really nice" (people who don't know about cars) and most of the 1 star reviews had details making it obvious the person actually has mechanical knowledge, a few with specific details that they lied or tried to unplug sensors to get more work. Seems like they specialize in European cars because they're expensive (so you can charge high for service) and many folks with euro cars aren't gearheads or wrenches - more typically people with $ and into luxury stuff (easily overcharged w/lack of knowledge and happy with "good customer service" & attitude - when they're really getting took).It's tough, but if you know a friend or family member who's a mechanic or with good knowledge, always consult them first. Shops like this are hit and miss, you can look to save a few bucks and end up paying hundreds or thousands more than the dealer.

I had been looking for a place to work on my car for good BMW mechanic I will have to say these guys did a great job and got the parts I needed super fast for they're great customer service in even making sure I had a ride home they exceeded my expectations

Took a 2010 BMX X5 to fix it showed some malfunctions codes. and what they did? They erase the codes reset the car it last few months and exactly the same problem apear again. They didn't change anything. I took it again and they did the same thing. Very poor and bad service.Services: Auto exhaust system repair

I would like to say that I needed help with the droptop getting stuck on my Benz so I went to European Auto.What a blessing !!! We got the top down and locked safely . I offered to pay and and was told to keep it.I'll never forget that. That was a great experience for me. Thank you so much , European Auto. ?

After getting a diagnostic at another local shop done for my Mercedes at a total cost for almost $3,000 I looked to get the job done for cheaper. I found the parts myself for $600, and went to this shop for a quote on labor for $420 which was cheaper than the other shop. I even added an oil change and paid about $1,200 total, saving more than half from what the other overpriced shop was trying to charge me! These guys got the job done for a fair price and they even have coupons you can use on their site. Very professional service. Will be there again!

Got a recommendation that this place is the best I will never and do not recommend anyone to take their car here my car went in for an oil change they said supposedly there's so much things wrong and wanted to charge me and arm and a leg. The next day my light turned on that my coolant was low and I keep adding every few days it comes back on. Now something is leaking all over the floor which my car never did before I got the oil changed at this place

Please do not waste your time with this business. I took my vehicle in for a simple serpentine belt replacement the second day while driving on the freeway my car breaks down. I opened the hood and the serpentine belt was all jacked up. I had to spend extra money on expenses that were completely their fault. I also lost a full day of work, due to their mistake. My car had no prior problems at all until I took it to these place. I should of looked at reviews before taking my car there. The business is completely shady and I would not recommend them to anyone.
