I'm from Sacramento and recently moved to Salinas for work. I was amazed that I could make a phone call to the bank and a live person would pick up the phone. In sacramento you get a call center and have a difficult time getting in touch with personnel from the bank. I was able to get in touch with Andrew and he's great about calling back. He scheduled me a meeting quick and broke down the details of our accounts to help us understand how we could save $$$. At the conclusion of our meeting he upgraded our accounts and had great conversations. The staff is personable and attentive.

This was a generational favorite bank until yesterday. I had one signature that needed to get my pension to be notarized. We are talking super simple. The person who does the notary at the Salinas Bank said "I can't do it. I am busy and have to help at the front counter" as she was standing there! Never did she ask what do you need or how can I help you, zero customer service, zero. She said "you can go across the street".So I went to Chase Bank and got much better customer service but the appointment times did not work for me. I came back to Comerica to see if I could get help at the end of the day. The notary was counting money not helping customers at the counter as she said but anyway I stood in line waiting and she would not have eye contact with me. Yes, she noticed me as I had a noticeable sweater on ( bright coral color). Finally another teller helped me. I told her I need help to have one signature notarized. She said let me check and came back to say our notary is really busy and has no openings till next Wednesday late afternoon. Wow! Really? I am feeling like a valued customer....not. And to think I was going to bring them a new business account. No way. Not with this attitude. I feel so different about this bank now. It took so long to go out of the way not to help me than to help with one piece of paper. So sad. What really happened? This has never been the styler attitude or any employee it has always been how can we find a way to help you. I am broken hearted that this bank lost their heart. I will not be directing my pension to go to that account either. Looking at other banks now!

I love this bank! Everyone knows me by first name and always say hello when I walk in. I like that I have never had to wait over maybe a minute for service. No lines, in and out and on my way! We had accounts at Chase and Wells Fargo and it would take us over an hour sometimes to get anything done! I've got kids and a busy life and just don't have that kind of time to stand around. Everyone here has been SO nice and accommodating. Even my kids opened accounts and they all were given cute little piggy banks to start saving in. I'd highly recommend this bank!

Very rude customer service unprofessional the woman named "Romie"she's very rude when she's counting out your money she just throws peoples money at people very unprofessional she needs to be retrained and she makes you feel like a Criminal when you walk in the bank
