5 stars! Felisa Garcia from the Watsonville branch and Manny Escarcega from the Salinas branch were a pleasure to work with! I secured a loan for an RV all over the phone in one day! I had shopped around for the best interest rates and found Bay Federal's rates were the lowest. Felisa provided me with excellent service, she made it convenient for me by sending me the documentation electronically so that I only had to go into the Salinas branch once and during my lunchtime to finalize the process. (Salinas was closest to me) She put me in contact with Manny at the Salinas branch and he was equally pleasant and helpful and I was done in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Felisa and Manny! It was a pleasure and I will definitely recommend your services to friends and family given my great experience with Bay Federal!

I started with credit union in 1970. Then changed to Coast Tel. Now Bay Federal. Only knew one lady from before and now met Manny, who was truly helpful helping me with a scam problem. Thanks a million to everyone involved!!

The staff is very helpful. But the direct deposit is terrible. 2 plus weeks of no approval. I had to drive to Santa Clara twice to pick up a paper check. Almost got into a car accident on the way. Then I might get a fee for not having a direct deposit set up?? Then this Zell app is trash. Won't work at all. Plus there is no bay federal in seaside. Thinking about closing this account but my adp is almost set for direct deposit finnaly.scared to edit or change anything. Again the staff and security guard were great.

We arrived at 530 to open a business account and they told us that it takes an hour to do so and they couldn't help us today. Then proceed to tell us that they aren't available until a Thursday next week. This is the second time we have tried to open a business account with Bay Fed and we were turned down both times. We will be going to Monterey Credit Union

After our small credit union merged with Bay Federal, we have had nothing but issues. Limited account access, holds on deposits, etc. we were with our credit union since it opened and never once bounced a check or had any issues. They have officially lost our business.

I'm keeping it simple. Manny, is the man got me approved for a car loan when every other bank denied me. As I walked in ALL the staff there were very polite. But, once again, Manny, is the man the attitude this man has beyond words. I highly appreciate how honest he was with me and made sure I was going to do the best moves to help my credit. Thank you Manny.

I am new to Bay Federal. As with any bank or credit union right now, there are a lot of wait times with COVID, so I did not mind waiting. When I got connected with a representative, he really went above and beyond to take care of all of my questions. He could've had me call back once he was finished with his portion, but instead, he reached out to other team members to get all of my questions and concerns handled in one sitting. As a director in the healthcare industry, I have 40 employees and take pride in the customer service we provide to patients. When I experience great customer service, I always make sure to share with the employee as well as the employer because the customer representatives are their front line. These are the people that keep businesses thriving, and keep customers coming back. If every single customer representative is like Stevie, I am a forever member. I didn't even know exactly what I was trying to ask when I called, and by the time we were done, I felt supported, heard, and helped. Great work, Stevie Thank you so much!

I have had it with Bay Federal they turn off your card constantly for what they call suspicious activity and I'm over it. I can't do not even me count how many cards I have had since being with them for the past 15 years. Don't even get me started on their overdraft fees that they like to tac on one after the other adding up to several in 1 day, Even if money was pending to be put into the account the same day. My relationship with Coast-Tel began back in approximately 2008 when my children were 5 and 9yrs old (they're now 17 and 21yrs old). Coast-Tel's former President, Judy, walked over to our little charter school next to the library and helped any one of the kids who wanted to set up a savings account. She'd come over every Friday to collect their deposits (whether it be coins or dollars) and would teach them the value of the dollar and saving it. I banked with B of A at the time, but finally switched over about 5 yrs later because I got tired of corporate banking and loved walking into the kids branch and the warmness we'd feel. It was such a relief to have tellers personable and so customer service oriented. Often we'd come to the branch and the teller knew who we were and would already have our accounts pulled up and ready to help however they needed. The best part (and one of the biggest reasons I left B of A is when you called the bank, you actually talked to someone AT the branch. This is no longer the case... you call and wait on hold in a queue, no friendly faces at the branch and the attitude is no longer to go out of their way to help. I have to now call around and try and get lucky finding a rep who cares enough to try and make happen my needs.I am currently looking for a new bank...I'm extremely unhappy with the takeover by BayFed. If I wanted to be just another customer, I would have stayed with B of A. I do have to say though that Patty at the Salinas Branch was wonderful. She was efficient, resourceful and smart. I really don't want to group her in with the service I've received so far.
