The power went outAnd when we were about to receive the refund, the power came back on and they told us to go back to the room to watch the movie, but they gave us courtesy for another movie anyway

This theater is not what it used to be. Where's the refills on popcorn and sodas? The cardboard food trays? The good nacho cheese? I get that covid required changes but now their just lagging behind. I used to prefer cinemark over the local Maya Cinemas but they keep downgrading their offerings.Updated review 12/2/23: the theater has brought back the good nacho cheese and their offering decent sized trays to share popcorn. Bring back the free refills on the popcorn and soda and you got a 5 ? theater.

The drink thing had a sign that said no free refills right now, which is so so stupid, so I definitely totally followed that and didn't refill after the movie. Anyway the lobby is huge and awesome and full of posters, the menu is awesome with so many snacks. The soda machines have so many sodas and then variants of sodas (I got cherry coke) the seats ard big, comfy, leather, reclining, with tables and a cup hold that swing, quality sound and screen, overall great theater, great bathrooms (little posters over the urinals) and the staff was friendly and nice (except that one guy who looked like he was just done)

Arguably the best movie in the Monterey County. Cleaner than the others, better snacks variety (for both adults and children), alcoholic beverages, and hands down the best kettle popcorn (apart from Disney's kettle corn) I've had. Friendly staff, pretty clean restroom (except for this last time, but they got on it right away when I notified someone)... Yeah, my first choice.

I had a good experience here after a previous bad one at the other movie theater in Salinas. Staff were courteous and polite, popcorn was delicious and the movie was in English this time! My only problem a lot of teeny boppers lurk here, but I would come back.

Two so called supervisors were being stubborn and wouldn't let my 14 year old sister and myself in to watch the nun. To my knowledge at least one person has to be 17 years old in order to chaperone for someone younger. I am 21 years old so I thought we'd be good to go in. She called her "supervisor" who said that we needed an ID. Then I told her I had an ID and my sister didn't but I'm old enough to chaperone for her. She said if I had read their policies, and honestly I don't read policies before entering a movie theater I'm just there to enjoy the movie. She went on to say that my parent had to buy my sisters ticket in order for us to come in. So my dad came and they still wouldn't sell us the ticket because apparently he had to come in and watch it with us. What is that bs.

This mall may still be suffering from the Covid shut down. I wouldn't go back. It is definitely a low end mall. I was shocked that a nice area like this has not come back. Very sad.

Went in on 08/20 to see Blue Beetle. Half of the soda machines were not operational. Also, they now charge $0.60 for a tiny container of jalapenos, when a couple of months ago they were free. Seems a little greedy to be charging for something that is free at other theaters and was free at the same theater. We went to our seats and one out of the two were not reclining. The theater was full so we did not ask for a seat change. Now for the biggest downfall, the AC was down the entire movie. The theater was uncomfortably hot and we were on the verge of leaving. There was no warning or advisory prior to purchasing tickets of this major AC problem. We went to customer service after the movie and got refunds. After reading some of the other reviews, it seems this has been an ongoing issue. Not sure why this has not been addressed. The executives running this theater need to have higher standards for their customers. At this point the issue is known and not correcting the problem is just plain disrespectful. If these issues are not rectified, I will no longer purchase from this theater and will be going to the Maya Theater instead. I will also tell my family and friends to not bother wasting their money at this theater that clearly does not care for their customers. If you go to this theater and experience these issues don't be afraid to ask for a refund! Treating paying customers like this is not acceptable and they need to address this.

It is so much better than what it was years ago. More options to choose from from the snack bar. Seats are way more comfy. Different size theaters are a plus. And much more handicap accessible.
