Poor body work. Vehicle was held up for a month when I was told it would only take a 2 to 3 weeks at the most. Problem after problems after vehicle was returned, even after 5 years. To list a few: they Completely botched my car to the point that it didn’t start anymore, so they had to tow it to the dealer ship to get it reprogrammed and start up. Shop master said the guys at this shop didn’t know what they were doing and that they “botched” my car. My car was returned with Misalignment hood, fender and pins missing from fender, which caused my vehicle to whistle. One of my fan was unplugged. Driver side Sun visor was replaced, but kept breaking off at first use because they kept breaking the plastic inside each time they replaced it.

I found this p;ace from an insurance company listed recommendation. I was hesitant at first since I've never brought my Tesla to any place other than one authorized shop in Seaside. When I picked up my car, I was very impressed with the quality of the work that Hector's team has done. Not only did they fix the damage caused by my car accident but they also lightly detailed, buffed, and cleaned the entire car exterior. The staff was helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

Car Tech has done at least 4 cars for me with 2 more on the way. They are hands down the best work I’ve seen and I’ve been around shops for 35yrs. They do super clean work and turn them out very fast. They’re for sure my go to shop!

This review is long overdue. We brought our Tahoe back in 2019 because it had a lot of scratches & paint peeling. Hector & his team did an amazing job on the paint job. No orange peel. Here we are 6 years later the paint still looks Great & still shines. If you're looking for a body shop that is honest, reliable & great turn around this is your shop!

Best shop in town. High end equipment and work. Hector and his team fixed some aluminum work that other shops turned down and left it like new in just 3 days. I highly recommend!! You get what you pay for.

I brought my car, which had been damaged due to a rear-ended collision, to Car Tech Auto Collision for a repair estimate. The bumper was so severely crushed and broken that the trunk can’t be closed completely. The muffler was out of place and so low to the ground.Hector examined the car and told me that he had a good news and a bad news for me and what I wanted to hear first. I said let’s hear the good news first. He told me the good news was that the muffler was not damaged and they would be able to put it back in place. The bad news was that the floor of my car was badly crushed. I mentioned to Hector that it’s an old car and I don’t need a new floor if it can be fixed. He said that he would try. I guessed that as most people, I depended on my car and it’d be hard for having it at a shop for too long. Hector was very understanding and said if I put a deposit down for the bumper part, they could order the part and have it ready when I brought my car in so that I could cut down the time my car was in the shop. I was very glad that Hector offered me this option.My car was fixed in four days, and they did an outstanding job on the repair. The paint color on the bumper matched perfectly with the body. The trunk closed perfectly. The bumper was put in place. To add a very nice touch, they washed and cleaned my car inside and out (I didn’t expect this). The tires were cleaned and shiny. I could not be happier with the results.I highly recommend Car Tech Auto Collision in Salinas. It’s a family-owned business . Hector, the manager, is very friendly yet very professional. I’m a Salinas resident and I’m glad that I brought my car there instead of a big corporation shop.Services: Painting

Best car shop in town! They were amazing to deal with, Treated me like family and kept me posted on the work being done on my car. Not only was the work done to my car in excellent condition but it came back to me so clean on the inside and outside It was a perk I was not expecting, I would not take my car anywhere else.

Great overall experience. Got into an accident they helped guide me through the whole process flawlessly which made the whole situation go a lot smoother.
