I did my research on different gyms in Salinas and found BeastFit to match what I was looking for. Actually, it turned out to be even MORE amazing than what I was looking for.I had shed a lot of weight but felt like I needed strengthening and conditioning. I’m 34 years young, with two babies 2yrs & 6 yrs and have a pretty busy life. I am a local business owner and have a pretty busy schedule.Trying to do it all, be a present parent, running a busy business can lead to some stress. I have been guilty of constantly using the phrase, “I don’t have time for myself.” But this year I decided to MAKE time for myself.I want to be a healthy parent for my babies, a healthy business owner, make time for myself to fill my cup and therefore able to overflow into the other areas of my life.I wanted to invest one hour of my day to the gym and make sure I enroll somewhere where I would get results. One hour for 4 days a week is just perfect. Enough days to see results and enough rest days that I look forward to getting back to the gym. Investing One hour out of my day for 4 days a week for the past 5 months have led me to be the healthiest, strongest I’ve ever been in my whole life. I feel like I’m in my 20’s!I wake up looking forward to the gym, am able to release what I need to release at the gym, guided by the owner Hector, I feel like I get an amazing workout every time I go, I go about my day and have all the energy to keep up with my young babies and busy schedule. I no longer complain about my back pain or being too tired to be active with my kids after work.The gym has improved my mental health immensely! I feel happier, mentally balanced, I can think more clearly, I am motivated throughout my day instead of feeling sluggish, I am making healthier choices in life, I have the energy of a 20 year old, my skin is glowing, my whole body is toned with abs coming in, strong legs, building the booty, lean toned arms.After having two kids, I didn’t think it was possible to feel/look like this. I am more confident than ever, I appreciate being healthy and look forward to my hour at the gym.I was not a gym enthusiast before. I hadn’t worked out in 7 years. I chose BeastFit for the experience that Hector has. I was a bit intimidated by the name and wasn’t looking to turn into a “Beast” but I decided to try out each gym until I found the perfect one for me. Needless to say, I didn’t need to look further.I was hooked within the first day. Of course, it’s going to be challenging for a person who hasn’t worked out in 7 years but I was tired of feeling “weak.” Hector started me with a review of my health, any injuries, past experience, my abilities, goals.He trained me from the very beginning on learning how to do a proper squat, use proper technique, to avoid injuries (which is huge!), and slowly build up my strength & endurance to join the classes.I went from not knowing how to do a proper squat, never wanting to workout, nor even THINK about weight training to looking forward to my classes 4 days a week, to squatting 205 lbs!!!! And OBSESSED with all of the benefits of training with Hector. I swear, he is one knowledgeable person. I trust him to guide me and I am extremely grateful into this transformation I’ve had within the past 5 months!I receive Compliments on my health/fitness daily. Not only do I feel it but those around me have witnessed my transformation.Hector made me feel comfortable without feeling judge nor pushed nor pressured. He has the right amount of confidence to motivate his clients. Even when I don’t think I can do something, he reminds of the correct techniques and I am able to surprise myself with my strength. It is empowering to be in control of my body, instead of feeling like I am a slave to my body’s illnesses/weaknesses.I HIGHLY recommend Hector at BeastFit. If you’re ready to become the best version of yourself- I swear Hector is the one to do it.At 34 years young, mommy of two- I feel my healthiest, strongest, more confident, sexiest ever. Rocking two piece bikinis!!
