Alta is an outstanding gym. They push you hard to help you see results quickly. They are great about altering workouts to your current level of fitness and then adjusting workouts when you’re ready. I would highly recommend joining!

The coaches are very knowledgeable in stretches, exercises, nutrition, positive mental attitude and everything involved with leading a healthy active lifestyle. I've attended classes coached by Laura, Scott, and Aaron and found them all to be friendly, professional, and eager to instruct. They give good guidance on how to do the workouts with good form to prevent injuries and maximize gains. The workouts are a great variety of exercises which vary by class. The classes maintain an excellent ratio of upper body, lower body and balance. The nutrition plan for myself has been life changing. I've always somewhat knew the benefits of eating healthy but never fully committed to it. I truly appreciated that the approved proteins, carbs, greens and fats were all spelled out along with a portion size for each meal. It made it so easy for someone new to eating healthy like myself to get started. Alta Performance Institute also has a very active Facebook group that shares information and allows for interaction with the coaches and other members. It is not just a gym but a community of like minded individuals committed to getting fit. At their Monterey location they have a scale linked to the InBody app that will track your weight, muscle mass, body fat, etc. These types of readouts provide motivation for myself as I strive to be bettter. Overall this is an excellent program with a committed and passionate leader. Aaron never seems to settle for what things are but looks to evolve his institue for the greater. This benefits everyone involved.

I've known Aaron for many years in the capacity of a fitness and life coach. I have reconnected with him when I joined Alta Performance Institute a couple of weeks ago. It is the best decision I've made for myself in almost 3 years. Last week I must've injured my left trapezoid with either a kettlebell or a club bell. I ignored what I thought was just soreness over the weekend. This morning my pain was unbearable and I was unable to even turn my neck and had to cancel my 8:30 a.m. workout. I contacted Aaron to let him know and to ask him if I could make up the session the next day. Not only did he say "yes" but he also asked me to come in for an adjustment and some manipulation to the injured area. The fact that he is willing to give up 45 minutes of his personal time after a busy work day speaks volumes of his dedication to his craft and to the members of Alta Performance Institute. I recommend this fitness facility without reservation. It is absolutely appropriate for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Please stop by for a consultation.

Aaron and team truly transform in my opinion the meaning of what a gym studio is meant to be. Everyone is working hard to be the best they can be and Aaron and team are super supportive in helping you not only set your goals but more importantly reach them.

I came to Alta fitness for the 6week challenge because I was tired of making a resolution to change and failing on my own! The accountability, support and nutrition plan I received from Aaron, Scott and all the trainers was exactly what I needed to succeed! The other members made me feel welcome from day one! I crushed my goal and a whole new outlook and feel empowered to succeed at any goal I set!! This is a whole new lifestyle and I am never going back to the old me!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is serious about changing their life!!
