Absolutely a restful stay. Beds were fantastic. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. The rooms and hotel was very clean. We would recommend this hotel to any of our friend and family.
Rooms: Very roomy, clean and comfortable.
Safety: Felt very safe. No riff raff.

In terms of rooms and services, the most beautiful structure we stayed in on our road trip. Very clean and modern rooms, functional shower with products. Very kind staff. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, with waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon etc. The only real problem with this hotel is that it is very disturbed by the street all night, it is not quiet and it takes you a long time to fall asleep. I also think that since people have no common sense, the use of the ice machine should be banned at night, there were guests coming back and forth at 2am. But generally, I would recommend it.

This is my favorite Hilton to stay at when I visit Modesto because of the price and nearby food options all in walking distance. You pay less than it costs to stay downtown and I’ve had better experiences here overall. You’ll hear the train at night, but it isn’t loud enough to bother me 99% or the time.

The hotel stinks as soon as you walk in the door. The hallways and my room all had the same smell.
My biggest problem is payment. I used the app, and as soon as you check in and choose your room, they hit my card for the total cost. $272.00 for 2 nights. When I got to the hotel, they charged me another $550. I tried to explain it but they said it was a $250 incidental, which they didn't even tell me until they charged my card. Save your time and stay elsewhere
I was also insulted by saying digital key doors not work for me because I am just a Silver member.

The front desk personnel are top notch. However, $250 as a surprise security deposit is ridiculous for this property. Also, at 10:45pm the Manager was carpet cleaning in the lobby and woke me up after a 4 hr drive. Terrible!! I was in RM 106 & no way were those two KING sz beds! No more Hilton hotels for me!! Marriott is much better!!
Nearby activities: Huckleberry Restaurant best part of the whole weekend , and seeing my children .

Clean rooms, better breakfast than most places! Friendly staff.
Food & drinks: Nearby restaurants included a Chinese food place that was pretty good. Also a Little Caesars and a Subway nearby. There is a breakfast/lunch diner right in front of the hotel as well.

I tried to do early check in at 1pm on the 18th of December. They told me it would cost me $20 extra for early check in. Never experienced this anywhere else, seems petty. I passed and went across the street and had breakfast.I came back at 3pm. They required a $250 deposit. I thought “Oh wow my room must be really nice given a $250 deposit”….I went up to my room. They assigned me a handicap room on the second floor with a shower head that only goes up 5 ft. I’m 6ft. There were 4 very obvious stains on the carpet, the carpet was so sticky it felt as though it was vacuumed with honey.I went downstairs and voiced my concerns to the front desk. The lady at the front desk said the stains were from someone’s pet. So they most likely kept that guys $250 deposit and didn’t shampoo the carpet for the next guest. At no point did she offer to give us a new room that didn’t have visible animal urine on the carpet.The coffee was good, The gym was excellent, the breakfast was bad. Bacon and scrambled eggs, That’s it, That’s all most people want, You guys are doing too much with the mini omelets and sliced Sausage… Slice sausage is yuck. Just serve bacon and eggs, Keep it simple.If you were me would you return to this motel?
