Pretty standard but clean and good staff. Good price compared to other Fairfields in the region.

Taylor, is awesome!
She went over and beyond to make sure we had a good experience at this hotel. Her customer service was amazing.

I stayed at the hotel, first time for work. My first encounter was a shorter lady, a Mexican lady. I believe on my second day she was about to leave her shift. And they said Nina or Marie. But her rudeness is not surprising. She wanted to leave, I’m assuming it was the end of her shift. Just don’t show your guest that energy. I’m a titanium member.
What makes me upset. Is a woman Hispanic
Don’t know if she was a room cleaner or behind the desk to work with her. I saw her name tag. and another associate marie or Mariah, And how “niggers” should not be in the customer service industry. However, when I checked in. The African American girl was more professional than the Hispanic lady who had blonde and grey hair. I do not stand for racism. And the fact they were talking about her, when I was buying a soda.is despicable. I haven’t seen the African American girl. But she was charismatic, funny, and kind. Our business associates stay here a lot. And when I tell them the “nigger” comment. We will be pulling our business. This happened 02/2024. Also, I could only see a partial of her name. Due to her braids.
I will be trying to find her on social media sites,or call the hotel. so she can have all the knowledge of how her coworkers think about her. And if she is let go. I will be calling upper management. Everyone on my facebook page and ig. Help me find this woman. Call the hotel. We are stronger together.

I was in the area on business and this one seemed safe and reasonably priced. Desk clerk was friendly and efficient and the mattress was firm and comfortable. When I saw that the breakfast consisted of pre-packaged breakfast items instead of the usual buffet, I wasn't expecting much, but they were a lot better than many of the hotel breakfasts I've had.

Very unaccommodating property. I’m a local mother of 2 toddlers and a newborn who is having to stay here for a week due to a leak and reconstruction in our home. I asked to switch our room from 2 queens to a 1 king for safety reasons because my toddler moves a lot and had been falling off the bed at night. I was happy to pay any difference in room cost, but they said no type of room switch was possible because I had booked through a third party and not through mariott. The general manager was called but I was told I had no options. Makes no sense

Excellent Marriott property with very accommodating front desk staff. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi good.Rooms: Rooms are clean but they sometimes unplug the mini fridge so beware!! No custodial staff after hours; if you need something you'll have to go to the front desk yourself and pick it up

A dated hotel that gets the job done. This hotel is right by the Mc.D's & Denny's. Staff are nice and hospitable. Cleaning attendant tend to start ignoring you if you stay for extended periods. Beyond that it is a decent place. The rooms just are dated. Due to the old carpet the room can smell stuffy.

Both ends of the property are close to loud noises, if you are a light sleeper a room in the middle of the building will help. On the one end is the freeway and the other end are freight trains.

How has no one mentioned the LOUD freight train right outside our window (206)!?!? After about the 3rd train passing I called to ask the front desk about if the trains run all night to which they said they didn't know. I asked if it was better in a different part and they said well then it's the freeway noise. The hotel is clean at least but here's hoping we get sleep

Being a VERY frequent Marriott patron I stopped here for a short overnight after a long day of driving. Room was fine. Clean and quiet. The issue at this hotel is strictly about the poor customer service and horrible attitude that the front desk has. Being an Elite member, one of the perks one earns for the loyalty to the Marriott brand is a late check out. Normal check out time is noon. I had an 11:30 conference call and requested a bit of a late check out at about 8am. The front desk "girl" refused my request (even though the hotel was 3/4 empty) saying that late check out was only for GOLD Elite members. While this is not true, instead of arguing with her I chose to arrange for a later call and do it in the car while driving. 11:45 comes and the room phone rings as I'm walking out the door. It's the front desk calling to "remind" me again that I need to be out by noon. I stopped by the front desk to get a printed copy of my receipt and asked the guy at the front desk about the late check out issues. His response was that he wasn't the manager (pretty sure he was) and that there wasn't one around. Pathetic representation of the Marriott brand. If you're looking for a place to stay in Modesto, this isn't it. Drive down the road to another hotel.
