Crazy place. Some of the pumps will not take a card.Alot of them will not give you a receipt. It has happened on several visits to fuel up.So when I needed to go in to get a receipt the door is locked and there is a sign on the door that says close will be back. There was several people trying to get in. They just ended up leaving. I hate stopping here.

Gas is cheaper but at what overall cost? Signs on the door about wearing a mask while inside but the old dude working the cash register doesn't wear one. And spare me that the plexiglass hanging there is enough. It isn't. Arco Corp should be ashamed and held accountable.

My husband purchased gas, seeds and a drink and left. Only to find out that he was charged for 2 lotto tickets that he DID NOT ask for. He doesn't play "scratchers". Tuesday morning Jan 28th 2020. The guy today said he needs to pay better attention. Im sorry but this establishment needs more trust worthy staff. Look at your receipts before leaving. A mistake my lovey wont make again.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT LESSON NEEDED! ALONG WITH CONSUMER RELATIONS. R***** RAN. I thought this was a decent ampm. Hindu Bob doesn't want money because he keeps the doors locked for at least 25 minutes. The black dude behind the counter is lazy and won't take responsibility for anything in the store not working properly. I went in on 10 Sept. 2019 to get a pineapple drink and asked about the machine. The clerk said he didnt know s*** and he just got there. Takes no pride in his job. It isnt properly stocked with lids or straws. And they close for 20 min. For shift change when they shouldnt. Shift change can happen in less than 5 min. And still keep the doors open. They lock the doors from 10:40 pm to 11:00 pm. Its retarded. The owner is obviously not aware or doesnt care as well. I drove across town to the ampm on coffee rd. And the clerk lifted the machine lid and hit a button to make it work. So i got my drink. I told him about the clerk on Salida blvd. And he said either he is new or just lazy. Maybe it was because im white and have a set of balls and can voice what needs to be voiced and hold myself accountable for my mistakes. That, and im not some self entitled p**** of a clerk. To avoid any hassle, just go to an ampm where stuff actually works. You would think that being on the side of town its located in, it would look better and actually function better than an ampm on broke dick 5th street in modesto. I dont have to wait for shift change at any other ampm location and the clerks seem competent enough elsewhere to actually keep the machines that make/sell their products working efficiently! You go in and want something, and when you ask about it you'll be told I Don't Know, I just got here! Also, if you have to wait 20+ goddamn minutes before you can get gas or something inside while they do shift change, itll be quicker going to another ampm anyway. This one obviously can't be bothered with wanting to make a profit or conduct business for the comsumer like its supposed to. Any questions, comments or concerns feel free! I could elaborate for days!

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager/owner was extremely rude. Pump handle was broken at pump 11 and overfilled our tank. Gas spilt all over my car, down my tire, and a big puddle on the ground. Went into the store and told the cashier what had happened. To find out that this handle was just repaired and put back in service. This was not checked to see if the handle was working properly and they put it back in service. The owner came to the front and said he would refund us 10 cents. He then came outside to see the spill. The puddle was still there however gas evaporated fast. He said ya that's like 15 cents and that's all I can give you. He said if we wanted he would spill out gas on the ground for us to see how much it really came out. Which was the dumbs idea I've ever heard. All he had to do was put it out of service and apologize.

Today I finally filed a complaint with the state about this place! Back story: I have worked in the Bay Area for almost three years now and regularly stop at this station to fill up my tank, clean my windshield, and check my tire pressure. For at least two years now, everytime I've asked for the air machine to be turned on, I've been told it's out of order. TWO YEARS! There is no out of order sign on the machine, so they're either purposely not marking it to avoid detection, or it actually works and they're discriminating against me for some reason. It's usually different attendants each time though, so I believe it's really been broken for two years and the owner hasn't bothered to fix it. Gas stations are required BY LAW to provide free air and water to customers that purchase gas. They're clearly disregarding the law, and although it's not the crime of the century, I hope they face a fine and/or a large repair bill to come into compliance!

Normally don't have AMPM issues. However, today we stopped to put gas and the hose started leaking everywhere. Actually squirting gas at least 1-2 feet! My husband stopped pumping and I went inside. The manager/owner camp out to put an out of order sign. I asked for a couple dollars refund for what we had pumped ($13.65) in less than a minute. After talking to 2 clerks they had to wait for the owner to come back in, he says "Give her fifty cents." Serious! $0.50!! Like $2.00 of gas for customer service was gonna hurt! Gas all over my husband and my car! Hope you get gouged for that new hose you have to buy! It's the principal! I can pay $0.50 more at Chevron!
