Oldest continually operated family winery in Napa Valley and it shows. Small harvest, small case production. Beautiful hand-built home that now serves as the tasting room. Fun outdoor patio and picnic area in the warm months. Lots of shade! Just gorgeous property and beautiful wines! $30/person tasting.

Absolutely love this winery! The wine tasting was so much fun in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Our hostess, a Nichelini heir, was so sweet and accommodating. The pictures on the wall are fascinating and the building itself contained so much history. I can't wait to go back! Thank you for the experience!

A surprise find away from the hustle and bustle of Napa in Napa!!The scenic drive to the winery is like no other...the old winery nestled among the hills and the greenery is such a refreshing change! We sat outdoors and did bottles of their signature Rose which is not like any I have tasted and the Primativo along with tasting the sparkling wine...just a burst of refreshing flavors and absolutely to die for wines! Morgan was wonderful to talk to which added such a personal touch to our relaxed trip to the winery! And to finish, i got a bottle of their chocolate cabernet wine sauce to drizzle on ice cream for dessert...such a smooth and silky sauce...lovely!!I highly recommend Nichelini's family winery not only for their wines but also for the personal touch...you will love the experience!!

Simple private, cost effective wine tasting experience great for large groups and groups with kids. They have a pretty big bocce ball place which kept the kids engaged while we finished our tasting on settings with park bench type tables over looping parts of the property from heights giving you ample shade during the day time.Price for entry: $30Ticket type: Wine tasting reservation

Historic winery! Family owned since its establishment in the 1890s. Its far from the other wineries but if you enjoy history and wants to relax and enjoy the view of the mountains you should definitely check this place out. They were devastated by the recent fires in the valley but that they still managed to survive and continue their family traditions. The hostess were nice and informative. I was too drunk to give a review about the taste of their wines.

We love this winery! I believe to be the last originally family owned winery and vineyard in the area. The wine is superb and matched by the staff. You need a reservation but it’s worth it and you don’t feel rushed. The wine club is affordable with great selections. Located In a beautiful area of Northern California. If you are near its worth it.

This was my first wine tasting experience and it could not have gone better! The wines were delicious and learning the history of the winery made it all the more special. Everyone here was wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. We brought some food and had a nice picnic to complete the experience.

I have ridden past this winery around a dozen times over the years but finally sat down for a tasting last weekend to celebrate my birthday. My party of 6 had a wonderful experience. This winery has a real homey and laid back vibe thanks to its welcoming staff. We sat on a picnic bench underneath some oak trees and enjoyed all 5 tastings (Muscadelle, Merlot, Roman Press, Cab Sauv, and Petite Sirah). Everyone left with a bottle of their favorite wine of the day. The Nichelini family has maintained its tradition of producing excellent wines over many generations and their dedication to the craft shows. We will definitely return!

Delightful family-run winery. We discovered this places by chance, but I think it might have been fate. Our guide was welcoming, charming, engaging, and very helpful. The history and philosophy of the winery was fascinating. The survival of the property during the 2020 fires was a fascinating story by itself, but the family stories were also really interesting. The property is in a gorgeous shaded location filled with charm. We enjoyed 5 wines on our tasting and enjoyed them all! Thanks for a wonderful introduction to the Napa area!

If you are a fan of history, visiting Napa’s oldest family-owned winery is like going back in time. Nestled in the hills of Napa Valley is a quaint farm house decorated with family photos dating back to 1890 and even the original wine press! We met Jannette who is a 5th generation Nichelini and tasted wine with Bob as our guide. I highly recommend this if you want to steer away from the more commercial wineries and visit this charming place.
