An oasis of calm, surrounded by fragrant roses, citrus, and so many colors of green. The NapaFarmhouse is welcoming and generous in its amenities. The beds are super cozy with soft linens and a bounty of pillows. The house is beautifully appointed with big sofas, lots of nooks and seating areas, with a large porch to enjoy the views and Napa weather. Breakfast was amazing! Mimi Brown made skillet omelettes with veggies and chicken sausage that were delicious….not to mention the homemade bread and jam alongside fresh picked fruits from the garden. I thought mulberries were only in a song! The most magical thing about the Farmhouse is the countless amount of roses, foxglove, lavender, vegetables and varietals beyond what you could imagine a few acres could hold.
With all that said, if you are looking for a modern white and gray with sleek steel everywhere- don’t come here! This is a home sweet homey kind of vibe and for those who appreciate a more eclectic style.
Nearby activities: Wineries and shops all within a 10 mile radius.

Gorgeous property and the owners and staff are friendly and professional. Mimi is warm and welcoming and makes a delicious breakfast that you can eat in the dining room or on the back porch overlooking their garden, wineries nextdoor, and the hills to the west. Rooms are utilitarian, but luxurious where it matters, like super comfy beds. Also in the perfect location between cute downtown St. Helena and Yountville, with excellent wineries literally steps away.

An ideal location and a wonderful ambiance for a Mother-Daughter weekend in Napa. The host is a chef so you will enjoy a beautiful, French-inspired breakfast/brunch. The details of the farmhouse are artfully appointed but it is neither pretentious or stuffy - we felt at home immediately and loved the outdoor spaces - gardens, little paths and a beautiful veranda for an outdoor supper. Highly recommend.

Do Not Stay Here!!!We love bed and breakfast inns and stay in them as much as possible when traveling. We had high hopes for this property given the good reviews and were spending the weekend in Napa for a wedding. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My husband has lung disease and is very sensitive to air quality. I explained this to Ed when I made the reservation. Ed, the inn keeper, told us he would not be able to greet us and gave us the details of how to enter our room. Unfortunately, upon entering Room No. 3 in the main house, it smelled very musty! The room did not feel or was clean! We spent the night because it was late and could not move to another hotel until the next day. My husband coughed all night. If you wear white socks you will see how filthy the carpet is, and my slippers stuck to the bathroom floor when I walked on it. Disgusting! We ventured to the kitchen area and opened the refrigerator which was dirty inside. We could not imagine having breakfast at the Inn in the morning. I should have taken photos. I spoke to Ed in the morning and explained that we had to leave. I asked for our payment to be refunded, but he told me the policy was only to return 50%. I certainly would not have dealt with the situation that way. A most unfortunate experience!!! There are so many lovely places to stay in St. Helena for about the same amount. We moved to the Wine Country Inn and Cottages. Fantastic!!!

I would avoid this overpriced place. No customer service as far as being greeted and made to feel comfortable. Went on 10/04/2023. Only guests due to mid week. We arrived. Door locked, rang doorbell and Ed said he sent an email with door code. We saw that and used it and got in. Most B and B have someone to greet you, and ask for your needs. I have been to many. Not here. No staff was there at all for our arrival nor evening. No afternoon wine and snacks like most B and B,s . Place has large area, but grounds overrun with weeds, lacking good care. There is a chalk board in the entry way with phone number and posts breakfast times and check out. Very impersonal. Rooms just ok and only two thin towels for the shower. No ADA handles, for those that need them. Room was dusty. Only highlight was Maria, the cook who served us breakfast a lovely egg and veggie frittata. For $517 dollars a night, there should be a host. Think Ed is using the area and figures he don't need return guests. Will not go back or recommend.

Had a great stay. The grounds are beautiful. Both Ed and Mimi communicate quickly. The bed was comfy and the AC kept the room cool. This is a super convenient location in St Helena

Avoid this charmless, overpriced drab trap. The place is off the winery strip mall like highway of Napa. We went there for a wedding and chose this place because it was the only one not requiring multi day stay. We paid $565 for an ugly room, with old laughable furniture, and decoration , an uncomfortable squeaky bed, the worse “continental breakfast” - probably one of the worst hotel / value experience of my very well traveled life

This is our favorite place to stay in St. Helena/Napa. We've been coming here for the last 4, almost 5 years. If you're into the rustic French cottage aesthetic, you've come to the right place. My hubby and I actually got engaged here, believe it or not. We had just checked into our usual room that we always request when we stay there and after a whole day of drinking, he whips out my ring pop from his luggage and the rest is history. The couple who run the place are super nice. Mimi, the wife, is a character and an excellent cook. We always ask for the full breakfast and she spoils us with all of her homemade goodies. We love taking a stroll in the gardens after breakfast and saying hi to the chickens who gave us such yummy eggs for our meal. We also order a produce box from them once in a while and they always vary from season to season. This B&B is such a gem, it holds such lovely memories for us.

Our visit here was unbelievably disappointing. In order to give them the benefit of the doubt, we were there in the off-season, and it was raining pretty heavily. Having said that, it does not excuse the fact that our room was dirty and the people kept coming into the common area where we were staying. It made me feel pretty uncomfortable. We opted to include the regular breakfast ($50 extra) over the continental breakfast (included), and it was NOT worth it. There was barely enough food for 6 adults. All that was served was a small frittata and some potatoes with sausage. There was no fruit or juice offered. It all felt rushed and uncomfortable. Again, this was off-season, so maybe it is better during the regular season.

We would give a 10 star rating if it was an option. My wife and I were completely blown away from our stay at The Napa Farmhouse Inn. The owners Mimi and Ed were completely kind and gracious. Our room and accommodations were quaint and romantic. Our breakfasts each morning were exceptional.. made by Mimi with fresh laid eggs by their chickens and organically grown vegetables on the property. Her homemade jellies and baked goods made from scratch were so delicious! The grounds were adorned with 50+ beautiful rose bushes, dozens of fruit trees, an incredible vegetable garden, and much more. We thought it to be a hidden oasis... just beautiful

Great place! Mimi and Edward made sure we were taken care of for our anniversary weekend. They not only accommodated our needs when we asked to change rooms but checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

It's a cute old farmhouse with a few acres of gardens. Overall, it's ok. The bed is comfortable, and the sheets were clean. We stayed in the carriage house. Here's the rub -- it's way overpriced. I really expected more for $600/night. There was mold in the shower, cobwebs in the corners, and dust everywhere. The walls are so thin we could hear the complete conversation our neighbors were having. On Sunday morning (around 7:45) we woke up to the sounds of someone repeatedly slamming the microwave door -- so much for the hope of sleeping in. The photos look nice but it's really not what you're getting. The walls are poorly painted, and overall just feels cheep. For other folks trying to plan a night in Napa -- there are some luxury properties in the area (Harvest Inn is located next door and Indian Springs is about 20 min down the road) which charge a similar rate to the Napa Farmhouse Inn (around $600 - $700/night for a queen room).

We had a girls weekend with mud baths and massages and decided to return to this beautiful and charming Inn. Our hosts Mimi and Ed was amazing. Ed immediately greeted us & helped us with our bags and Mimi gave us another tour of the garden. There were so many vegetables and fruits - peaches, plums, oranges, apples, cantaloupes, and lemons. The breakfast was so delicious with the fresh chicken eggs, potatoes, zucchini, and homemade peach and banana scones. Mimi had beautiful flower arrangements all over the Inn. The location is great and you can just walk over to V Suttui Winery. We can't wait for our next stay.

This place is just amazing! We have found it for a little Bday staycation, and it was so relaxing and welcoming. The garden, the atmosphere, all little details feels like you are in France. Homemade breakfast was delicious with farmer’s eggs, strawberries from the garden ? Mimi baked a delicious coconut cake as a little Bday present with a candle which was very touching. This place is highly recommended to everyone who values places with soul, not just some standard hotel.
