This is a bed and breakfast inn. If I could rate them 10 stars, they would get 10 stars. They go the extra mile to make sure you had a pleasant stay. The home sits in the middle of a wine vineyard. There is a balcony on the top level of this home that you can enjoy the beautiful site and take in the beauty of the vineyard senary. There are only 3 rooms that are sizable and they provide everything you need to be comfortable. Every morning between 8:30am-10am they serve a magnificent breakfast that just hit’s the spot perfectly. This is my 3rd visit and seriously I need not look elsewhere for a place to stay. Your stay here is worth every penny!!!!

Great hidden gem for a place to stay. Staff is the very friendly and love that it’s family run. Super clean and cozy. Daily breakfast is just out of this world. Tons of history with this place too. Every time I stay here I have the best experience. Need to book in advance as only three rooms. They are all decorated well and charming.

We spent 2 nights and it was so nice. Location - 5 stars - if you have any events in St. Helena, then this is an ideal location right in heart of St. Helena - Within walking distance to everything in St. Helena Room - charming, clean, and comfortable - we stayed in the Emma room. They left us a yummy bottle of their Salvestrin Sav Blanc and home made cookies. Definitely owners treat you like friends. One thing to keep in mind - the bathroom is very small - so small that it only fits the toilet and shower. The sink is outside in the same space as the bedroom. Was not an issue for us but if you're used to a larger bathroom space, this might not be the place for you. Breakfast - YUM! Homemade with love and care. The rest of the building is well kept and loved. Would not hesitate to stay next time we're in St. Helena

We stayed 2 nights here recently with friends. I would highly recommend this Inn and would be happy to stay here again. The location was perfect with the country setting but minutes drive to St. Helena. The rooms and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of food. The wine tasting was worth the time with the quality of the wine and beauty of the winery. This family run Inn and winery with its history and charm are a special spot in Napa Valley.

This is an AMAZING experience. This is a trip to remember and my stay at The Salvestrin Inn is one of my favorite. Your gonna have to plan probably several weeks in advance. This is a popular bed and breakfast, but totally worth every cent. Very well organized. We felt so welcome and you will too. We will be returning for sure. Make this a great weekend get away!!!

What's not to love!! Salvestrin Inn is a historical gem. We stayed in the Grayson room which was filled with light, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful outdoor deck. RJ was attentive, informative, and a pleasure to talk to at breakfast and during our tour. The grounds are beautiful with vines and mature trees. It is just a short walk to downtown St. Helena. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

What a wonderful find in St Helena. We stayed there for a long weekend with several friends. The Inn is a wonderfully restored Victorian property built in 1859 and owned by the Salvestrin Family. it is located on the vineyard grounds and is surrounded by Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah, Sangiovese and Sauvignon Blanc grape . We were encouraged to walk through the vineyards and explore the property. RJ was a wonderful host and his baking skills are incredible! We awoke to persimmon bread, avocado toast with eggs drizzled in olive oil, fresh fruit and I could just go on and on. Oh and the wine is amazing! The Petite Sirah is not to be missed. The Dr Crane Vineyard Retaggio was a wonderful blend of on property grapes. The Cab and Sauvignon Blanc wowed us too. Smaller boutique winery that is hidden gem. The property is located right in the middle of wine country and other wineries are a few minutes drive away. Gotts Roadside is a 5 minute walk away and has the best burger on earth! Of course if you want French Laundry that is about 15 minute drive away. An authentic wine country experience by far!

A total gem and RJ is the #1 host in Saint Helena! If you're looking for an authentic and charming Napa Valley experience steeped in hospitality and history this is your spot. The three bedroom inn boasts Napa Valley Soap amenities, a large sitting porch and veranda, daily homemade gourmet breakfasts and a DIY Italian espresso service. All this while overlooking the gorgeous Salvestrin Winery from your cosy bedroom. Enjoy the quiet views while also being just steps from downtown Saint Helena and the necessary creature comforts such as Dean & Deluca, Sunshine Market and wine/cheese pairings at the lovely Davies Vineyard. Peaceful, welcoming and impeccably maintained, you're sure to enjoy your stay at the Inn.
