Great wines and impressive service. Geoff explained the history of the winery and told the story behind each wine. Lola is our favorite.

This is an update to my review of our visit in 2018. Failla was recommended to us by someone who knows our taste in wine and we've visited 4 times over the past 5 years. It is one of our favorite local wineries and we take every chance we can to introduce our guests to this small winery that produces high-quality wines. The experience is consistent: the wines are top-notch, the setting is conducive to relaxation no matter where on the property you are seated, and the hosts are very informative and friendly. We especially love their Pinot, and we've visited 50+ different wineries in Napa Valley since 2018!

Very underwhelming experience. We were in and out in under 20 minutes and for the price it was disappointing.

I have been a wine club member for several years. The wines are some of my favorites and I often call them “my loves”. I recently had to cancel my last 2 wine club shipments due to not working due to a medical leave and they cancelled my wine club membership without even sending a separate message to me. This is very disappointing and a terrible way to treat a loyal customer.

The host didn't let us taste any other wines because she said shed have to open up another bottle even though there were bottles already open in the Kitchen...she said they have 16 Pinots and they are all good when I asked her if she had a favorite...not very service oriented and not fun. Even though the others tasting ion the other room were allowed to taste a few extra/different wines. As a result I didn't buy any wine even though I like their Pinots---server was pretentious and unfriendly....wont be going back any time soon.

And amazing experience! We had to do a research for one of our Business class about this winery and it didn’t disappoint! It’s a family own, with great & tasty flavor in a beautiful garden & coZy house!!

We visited Failla for the first time and loved the wine and hospitality. It is in a small home setting and our host (Brett) was excellent. We had a wonderful time tasting and discussing wine and wine making with Brett on the front porch.

This review is strictly for their customer service. It was my wife's birthday and I had to cancel my reservation. I called and when I picked up there was silence like they wanted me to hang up or think they didn't answer the phone. I express to the concierge over the phone that we were not from the area and needed better directions. She was nasty and rude. Instead of helping me get my bearings, she seemed irritated. To be honest she was the one who really cancelled the reservation.

Seriously awesome service! I can't wait to try this! I made a mistake with my order and they totally took care of me! Yes, I ordered this cause it's my last name (no relation) and I'm very happy I did. So refreshing to experience such compassion and excellent customer service! Thank you Janelle!?

This hidden winery is definitely worth a visit. Wines are complex and high quality. Outdoor seating is quaint and the main house is charming.

If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a high-quality wine experience, this is it! Janelle was very hospitable. Excellent Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay. The reception area is a historic house set into the hillside, it has a cool eccentric library feel. We did the cave tasting, which was wonderful, they have a luxurious lounge space set up in there. Great place to take a group of friends.

Very intimate, unpretentious vineyard with some great Pinot Noirs to try. While they are small, you have plenty of space for groups up to probably 12. You sit out in their garden under large trees at a charming old wooden picnic table and are guided by one of their people. She really knew everything about the winemaker, their vineyards and all.the backstories. It's what Napa was 30 years ago when it was about the wine and relationships.

We enjoyed our private wine tasting on the front porch. We were given plenty of time to swirl, smell, and sip the delicious offerings. We bought several bottles of the Chardonnay and are going to have our first bottle with veal. This is a small boutique winery.

It's on the Silverado Trail, rugged, ranch style winery, if you drive too fast on this stretch (people tend to do here), you will miss the address and will have to do a u-turn which we did! Failla is known for their delicious Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. They also have a winery in Oregon that offers equally outstanding wines. Love their single vineyard selection and estate wines. Their estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has so much expressions, reflect the place that they are in. The fancy people call it terroir... I call it solidly good wine all around it! I'm a fan of this brand and often order it at restaurants I visit, such as Alexander's Steakhouse, The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse, NapaSport Steakhouse, at Vintage Wine Merchants on Santana Row and some more. Beautiful benches and wooden tables outdoor, under the gigantic trees, so plenty of shades for you. APPOINTMENT ONLY! If you love Burgundy, come here for a visit! Generous pour, different glasses for you to compare, a nicer way to taste instead of just 1 glass to reuse. Our host was very good and chill, she's been with the winery for over 4 years so she knows a lot. A rare treat to find Pinot Noir in the heart of Napa Valley where Cab is king!
