BEWARE!!!!BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! giving this "company" a star. Which says a lot. I wouldn't give that either. BEWARE OF THE SCAM THIS COMPANY PULLS. We asked for a move from California to Las Vegas. We were quoted 2500 on the day they showed up they quoted us 5000. We were desperate and needed to live that day. We had a baby and it was just my husband and I. Our 2 bedroom apartment. They didn't take a whole dresser, small fire place, chairs, 2 couches. The only things they took was a queen size bed, 3 boxes of our clothes, as very small table that came apart, a hutch, they claimed the truck was full with the size they qualified us. 70% of the truck was empty. They claimed they had another customer needed to spot. I'm guessing that where our missing things ended up. What a joke this company is! They held our furnitures until all payment was paid. And when they finally delivered almost all of the things were MISSING!!! My expensive crystal bowls were broken. 2 lamps, numerous pillows, Mirrors! Missing! This place should be shut down!! I'm reporting it to the BBB as well. We've also warned people from using this company. I will be warning everyone until the last breath. We work in logistics so words do spread hopefully people pay attention to this review so they don't use this company!

We requested a cross country door-to-door delivery to Valiant Movers. The cost was around $3,000 dollars.
You are paying for any, and I repeat, ANY method or steps the items undertake during the delivery. For example, if the movers take the elevator down to the garage and walk out of your garage to the car, there will be 2 charges. If the walk from the garage is longer than movers taking the stairs, who cares, let them take the stairs. You can't be civil with these costs. If you're worried your furniture or boxes possibly being damaged throughout the process,.. I'm sorry.. either way, it'll cost ya. Because in our experience, our items were being stuff in a gigantic truck along with many other people's item, and no you cannot pay-in to have your items on the top. There's simply nothing that could be done.

I am being generous when I give this company 1 star. Never in my life have I experienced such terrible service. It has taken me over a year to calm down enough to write this review. I DO NOT want anyone to have to go thru the experience I had. I highly recommend you run away quick! The moment they arrived, I was told it would cost more than they quoted as I had too much stuff. The price didn't just go up a little, it went up 5,000.00! They told me if I didn't agree, they would not do the job. Knowing I had two days to get out of my house, I had no choice but to agree. The did all the packing and took them all day till 8pm to finish everything. I was told I had better give everyone a 50.00 dollar tip because they worked so hard. Normally I would have said, screw you, but since they were taking my belongs off to storage for 2 months, I complied. The truck they brought, was not big enough and they literally could not close the door. They tied string to keep my belongings in the truck. My belongings were delivered a few months later, from California to New Mexico. The people that delivered my belongings were mortified at the condition of my belongings. I used to have 6 solid wood dining chairs that went with my table. - chair the keg was broken in half. I only have 5 chairs. Most of my furniture damaged and the packing I found out was just horrible. Sworvoski figure crystals all packed together in a tube of empty tape. Not wrapped individually. All broken. So many broken things I sat down and cried! Don't bother trying to file an insurance claim. If you don't have proof of purchase, forget it. Who keeps receipts of everything they own?? Please see a few of my pictures attached here. Do yourself a favor, go with a reputable mover. Stay away from this company!

Please read the reviews before you use this moving company. I've heard they will pay you hundreds of dollars to remove negative reviews. They showed up on time, but the price increased after they got all my belongings out of the house and onto the sidewalk. They sold my belongings to another moving company. My mattress was folded in half, boxes smashed, and my stuff ruined. The two "gentlemen" who unloaded my truck looked as though they were just released from prison the day before - you know the druggie look...

Theyre really unprofessional. I called about 2 weeks prior to moving, the woman gave me a quote of $1800 keep in mind i explained to her with detail how my things looked so that later they wouldnt want to add any more fees the woman even said there wouldnt be extra fees. On the day of moving a gave showed up at abou 7:40 and said if he was able to look at the things and he did when he finished he gave me the price of 3,000 like i said i no longed wanted them to move my things and he left then his boss or sometging called and said the extra fee was because it was upstairs i mean i get it add like 400 dollars or something but you really just added about 1200 more for stairs? Dont rely on this company!

This was an AWFUL experience.

This was an AWFUL experience. The cost ended up being way more. I get that, because I underestimated how much we had, but then we got treated awfully for the mistake even though they charged 2,500 more and had more than enough space. Then when I talked to customer service it was AWFUL! I started explaining how the movers had promised getting it there sooner and now we were delayed and they interrupted and when I responded they started yelling. They were EXTREMELY unpleasant to work with. On top of that: they left a hole in the house we left, and they made a huge mark on the house we moved into AND scratched our hardwood floor. Then they made it difficult to get insurance. AWFUL. Choose someone else.

Never ever do business with these companies, Purple Heart or Valiant Movers. I had several issues, so this will be long, but that is the gist of what the point is.

Never ever do business with these companies, Purple Heart or Valiant Movers. I had several issues, so this will be long, but that is the gist of what the point is. First, Purple Heart is not a moving company. They are what's called a "broker." We had to pay around $800 more than we were quoted. If we had gone directly through the moving company, the movers, Valiant Movers, told us that we would have gotten almost double the amount of space in the truck for what we were paying. The movers said they couldn't quote us a price based on the items in our house, saying they would tell us the price once the items were loaded. They said the price quote was just based on an eyeball estimate once in the truck. There was no actual measurements. This meant that my items would be loaded and my items basically hostage for me to pay whatever they requested. Next, Purple Heart seemed mostly out of the loop when it came to scheduling. I had requested a two day timeframe for my items to be picked up. They called while I was in New York and asked to pickup a day earlier while I was in New York. Twice. Then they scheduled a pickup that fit in my timeframe. However, the day before, the driver called me to tell me he was delayed by a day for our pickup, which was out of our window. I immediately called Purple Heart and they had no idea he was late. I find it extremely unprofessional that I have to call this third party intermediary whose sole focus is to handle the logistics of my move to tell them their driver is late and the timeframe no longer works. Anyway, the issue was resolved and we got a new pickup. Now, the company comes during our window and we run into the issue of increased payment. Due to the confusion, the movers left without picking up our items. I immediately called Purple Heart to get another truck out and to inquire about how the price could rise so much. It turns out that their estimates are based on almost nothing factual and they just tell you a low price. Anyway, the movers call us back and say they can come get it a little later in the day, if we agree to their price. We have no other real option so we agreed. After the movers come and take our items, I get a call from Purple Heart saying a new truck will come the following day. They had no idea about what had transpired, they they are meant to be our third party intermediary. Our items were picked up November 29. Our movers took down our expected date of arrival and noted that we were arriving the very next day. They said that they would try to get it out faster, and they expected 3-7 days. Purple Heart said that cross country moves take up to 10 days. After 10 business days, I called and left several messages for Valiant Movers, and I never received a call back. The next day I called Purple Heart again and they advised me that the movers had placed our items in storage back in California and couldn't find a driver to move the things to Idaho for us but that they were still working on it. I understand that maybe my final destination was not a popular one and that Valiant would want a full truck to make it worth their while. However, I don't really think it's my problem after so long and that they probably should have just gotten my move done after the 10 business days. Later, I was emailing with Purple Heart about the time issue. They said that they were expecting the truck to be loaded soon and to expect our items in 5-7 days. I was quoted December 18-20 for arrival. Not wanting to trust any timelines, I called to double check. The person in the phone said that would actually be business dates. 5-7 business days. That date, for those following along, would have been Christmas Day. I told the attendant on the phone there is no way we would be receiving our items on Christmas Day and she agreed that was just the timeline and that it would likely be delivered at a later date. After telling her we would be out of the state until January 6, she agreed that the items needed to be delivered the Saturday before we le

Just like all the reviews say: they gave a competitive quote, then did not live up to their estimate. I was told it would be $4.25 per extra cubic feet, and all my stuff was boxed and I measured the cubic feet to be at an extra $400. They said it didn't matter, because it was about "space in the truck," which didn't make sense because standard boxes should be easy to stack. They charged 1K over the quote and didn't arrive until 7pm, making it impossible to do anything else at this point.
