The Utterback Sod folk are utterly fantastic. I'm a total amateur and showed up on their doorstep first thing in the morning hoping to purchase some sod. Lucky for me they were able to help me (I only needed a few rolls) and sent me on my way with a bag of fertilizer. The price was fair and the service, was excellent.

Super fresh product and excellent customer service! We'd planned to pickup sod from Green Acres or Home Depot, but they were both sold out on the morning we needed it. Yes, I know you can order in advance, but we only needed 60 sf so they wouldn't place a special order for us. After calling around, a landscaping supply company recommended Utterback and we we're not disappointed. The sod was SOOOO fresh (cut that morning) and in great condition. Plus the pricing was better than the big box stores! Even though lots of professionals were busy loading up, the staff were friendly, helpful, and took the time to share some good tips for our small DIY landscaping project. Despite laying the sod during a heat wave, our lawn looks amazing and we haven't had any problems. Save yourself the frustration of paying more for dried and stressed sod from a retailer and go straight to the source!

the sod we purchased here is fantastic! superior quality and excellent customer service. the lady's in the office were both very knowledgeable and helpful! I'll be returning when it's time for the next project. we purchased 2,000 sq ft of bluegrass.

Best quality sod in town. I’ve seen different rolls of sod from other businesses over the years but this was of the highest quality. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Local business too. The two best lawns on the block are now both from utterback!!!
